Hi GuysHello from Thailand.I just bought a 2005 525I E60 with 225 tires, i want to change to 18x8 and 245/40, my dealer say i should only go for 235/40, why is that? is he right or??????Thanks a lot

From my opinion, 245/40 and 235/40 have difference in d tyre width only. most of e60 525 m sport r using d 245/40 tyres in Malaysia. i suggest for u 2 go for this setup. n if im not mistaken, d tyre pressure for this are 2.2 FRT n 2.7 RR or 2.0 FRT and 2.4 RR. i suggest u to follow d 2nd setting if u r using RFT tyres. less car floating feeling n smoother ride

HI
Thx guys, will go for 245/40/18
yes, that is the correct size for 525i (M-sport) in malaysia. if you need to confirm, u can use online tyre calculator to convert your original tyre size to 245/40/18 to determine if its between the 3% tolerance (don't let it exceed 3%, the lower the better but not negative)

Hi
Thx guys.
I am in Phuket, FYI Gasoline is around 21B for 91 Octane and 37B for 95 Octane, the 95 has just returned. Gasohol 95 is 26B and gasohol 91 is 25B, dont know if you care about it.
Have a nice trip.
