i got mine, DVD unit more than a year ago from bmw7833. Never regretted bought it. Moreover he still entertain me for any problem or map update until today. recommended to PM him !

Bro i think most of the accessories shop can do this kind of DD player installation. It's only plug in play, the most costing time are pulling the reverse cam wires from the boot of your car to front of the player and the rest was plug in the socket provided from the package only.

I have had one of these since Aug 2009. Fault less and excellent value for money. I have installed it for quiet a few here in Melbourne too. How much are they selling for over there ?

But the question remains: Can we still retain the MID fucntion of the E39 (as I have a post-2000 E39 local spec).? I mean can we still get the time of arrival,speed limit set and all the OBC fucntion as displayed as per the original HU MID?

but what other info it has? My ori E39 Business HU can also check distance to empty range,avg fuel consumption1 and 2, Stopwatch, arrival time, set distance and also the radio comes with speed volume i.e the volume increases as the car speed increases.
