Need Price Help - E46 Gearbox

Friend needs to replace e46 (1999) tip-tronic gearbox. Was quoted ~ Rm27,000 for the lot by Auto Bavaria. Could you let me know if this sounds right? Where would be a place to go and get this sorted? Also, whats the price if you get a re-con gearbox? Thanks for any help...

my mechanic told me to overhaul a gearbox will cost you around 5k

go to m-speed lar. he'll find you a good 2nd gearbox plus installation cost around 7k only. AB usually 27k.
