i ve been dying to ask this question... how come convertibles such as the F355, F360 or F430 convertibles are called 'spyder/spider' when they do not the resemble the said 8 legged arachnid?
 
All italian car which is convertibles are call spider. Fiat, alfa,lambo,ferrari,lancia
