Thanks wobble... confirms my initial thought as well as when I was looking at a "facelifted" pre facelift model, somehow, the lines don't look too right, but I just couldn't put my finger on to it... honestly, its not noticeable.. but, I kinda got some sort of vehicular OCD....

I think i'll look out for ori facelifted ones... 06 models and above rite?

Do they come in 730 guises? I've read that they do but I think the AB ones only come in 735 and above.... prob a UK or Jap recon unit then...

You can get an E66 or E65 in 730 guise. Yeah, the facelifted ones are from 06 onwards, and they DID come in 730i or 730Li for the local markets in SEA. My old E65 was a 730i :)

Go for Li, u can get the real luxurious feel !

Agree with Bro EL118 - his E66 Li is a classic example of how well the car has held up. Really, a classic look. I think despite the initial criticism of Bangle's design, the face lifted model is really classy and can stand its own. It's not BMW's best selling 7er of all time for nothing!

A facelifted 730Li now selling around RM190k. hold on for a while as now is near year end. by next year price should at least come down by 10%.

happy hunting!

I agree I agree....Li would be the better option, where possible....hehehhe

Go 7 series!!!!

U should have joined us for the 7 series TT last Sunday bro! let us admire your 740Li.

Sorry bros, Sundays are bit tough for me la....will try to make one of these days : )

I love the small but beautiful details of the e66 . Like the torchlight
In the glove box, the 2 small ambient lights behind both rear passanger seats . Both the lights are a soft yellow to orange colour . Just small details like that makes me love this car .

So bro i noticed u kept both E66 and F02! which one you prefer actually? i consider F02 before but the price difference is simply too much. i am a bit stingy to pay for the premium leh.

hey bro . its a very hard decision . choosing over the f02 and the 66. but i would have to go with the f02 just cause it has more toys like the 2 screens behind, 4 zone climate control, heads up display, cameras almost everywhere etc. Honostly im still very much in love with the e66. the car is just so classy and refined, elegant all at the same time. although it doesnt have all the toys and functions, the car makes it up with character.

ell18 just stick with the e66.. its a gorgeous car . it has alot more to give u before ur done with it !

u sure the F02 730Li comes with heads up display? I remember it is not equipped with it. a good feature as when we adjust our seat and steering for optimum seating position, the steering will be blocking our view on the on board metre.

F02s can be spec'd with HUD - but is not full color. I didn't get the HUD for the F02 :)

For a 3 year old car (2008) with immaculate condition, i only pay less than half the original price. RM300k compared to RM648k. A new car that lost RM350k in 3 years is a difficult pill to swallow. the market price for recon 2006 E66 with 80,000 km is approx RM245k. 2005 model (pre-facelift) now selling around RM170k. (so my depreciation would be about RM50k per year over the next 3 years i supposed)

My Singapore business partner who used to be Mercedes supporter ( 5 merc over the last 10 years) wanted to get himself a E66 730Li immediately after he sat inside my car.

Hi 118,

I parked near you car this morning (or was it yesterday) in Bandar Baru! It was hard to get a decent parking space so I parked behind your car to get some money at maybank.
