ha, ha, probably u r refering to some hawker centre or coffee shop car park. i dun drive my E66 to those areas too. i used to squeeze and park at any car park nearest to my destination but now i rather park far away and walk (if i drive my E66) just to avoid any "door hit" or scratch mark. this is a small sacrifice.

Definitely agree with you on that trait bro. Have been particularly mindful not to park my cars in tight spaces especially at shopping malls or outdoor. If possible I prefer to park at either the extreme left or extreme right of a bay so that I can leave more space between mine and the next car.

Prefacelift model price should be below RM150k. generally for all generations, new models tends to have a bit of problems here and there. as for 7 series, any problems may be costly to fix. At RM170-180k, i would say better top up a bit to get a 2006 post facelfit (Around RM200k) to have better peace of mind. (and better looking)

Ha Ha, actually the "upgrade" is also for me. my wife dun really enjoy the firm steering of E39 ( A Merc for her will be ideal), but for me it is perfect if i want the raw feel that my E66 cant provide!

Any idea what's the diff between the pre and post facelift besides the obvious front and rear end?

Also, what parts would it require to face lift it? just the front lights, bumper and hood for the front, and rear boot for the rear? or the qtr panels are required as well like the E38?

From what I can tell (google's my best friend), it's not as simple as hoped - a short discussion amongst the SG-BMW guys mentioned that certain shops can do it, and the range is between S$11 - S$15K to do it. Apparently, some of the dimensions (specifically the boot angle) were altered during the LCI.

Thanks wobble... confirms my initial thought as well as when I was looking at a "facelifted" pre facelift model, somehow, the lines don't look too right, but I just couldn't put my finger on to it... honestly, its not noticeable.. but, I kinda got some sort of vehicular OCD....

I think i'll look out for ori facelifted ones... 06 models and above rite?

Do they come in 730 guises? I've read that they do but I think the AB ones only come in 735 and above.... prob a UK or Jap recon unit then...
