Last time saw your post, looking for a E39 to E60.

So which one have you got now?

After fruitless E60 searches and many uncouth dealers with clocked mileage and not so honest sellers, I have decided to get an E39 2002 local AB.
Older,cheaper from a dealer but still a clocked car. I don't know why dealers like to clock cars.

Nonetheless ,mine has done over 213k KM from AB records when they slotted the key into the reader (I guess they can read info from the ECU which the key records I believe) but when I got it the milegae was 102k KM hahahaa...but again it was just over RM70k so it was less than half of the 2006 E60 I was looking for.

Irritated by the flattened seat cushion that constantly gave squieky sound, i replaced with high performance latex foam padding. Now the cushion feel much solid, firm and no more squieky sound!

I brought my own latex padding. done at Carbi Deco at Puchong.

did mine there as well, but not too satisfy with the outcome. This was back in 2008.

That was because they use PU foam padding which is not durable at all. (standard PU foam density is around 25-35kg/m3, worse off than original)

Original seat cushion they use "cold cured" PU foam which density can reach around 45-50kg/m3

I am using latex foam (which has far greater tensile and rebound effect) with ultra firm density of >100kg/m3.

BMW7833 & Gerald, in order not to disappoint you, i made a rough calculation, i may be able to supply the latex provided can get at least 15 pax to minimise wastage. Price of latex foam per seat is RM200.
