If u take your loans with bmw credit, 90% should be allianz.
But if u buy from bmw, maybe your sa use others company u also dun know. I also not very sure, please correct me if im wrong.
Better just call your SA or bmw to ask.

So after one year, even if Allianz also need to wait long or still 1 month procees?
I checked mine and it is Allianz. I took BMW credit.

I'm so sorry this happen to u, nowadays is Malaysia is not safe anymore, was road blocked by 2 chinese buggers on thursday and ended up with a broken window too.. so bought a car recorder and planning to install secure tinting, if anything happen there is a camera recording and can just use the car to hit those buggers!

Sad to hear about this bro. Same story happen on me 6 months ago. Im more worse than u, my first bmw 320i hijacked by 3 chinese fellow on the THIRD day after i collect my car... Even petrol also haven fill yet. But luckily they didnt harm me and my family. And i got allianz insurance, get the claim within one month.

I think the biggest problem now u facing is the claim, if u are using others insurance company, u will be in big trouble.
And forget about get back the car lah, here is MALAYSIA
hi, I heard from somewhere that all insurance company would pay full amount within first year isn't that right? And btw mind to share who was in charge of ur claim? because one of my friend's BMW got stolen 3 months back and now still waiting for the claim

Sorry to hear about your ordeal bro. Hope the police can recover your car and also capture those damn thiefs!

Sorry to hear about that. For BMW, I believe those buggers target newer model only. This country is not safe as some people think. Be extra careful.

Hi guys, thanks for all the well-wishes & comforting words. Mine was under Allianz, hence full insured amount will be reimbursed...thank god!

Call me stubborn or whatever, I cannot accept the fact that the BSRI can't be transferred, if not refunded, on humanitarian grounds of such unfortunate incidence.

As for wanting to post my babe's pics, I can't even find one coz it's all captured & stored into my hand phone that was in the car during the hijack...:20::20::20:

Good to hear that it will be full reimbursed...

Sorry to hear your case bro.
Allianz practices "agreed-value" - full claim within the same insured year irregardless the car value depreciation. "agreed-value" means hirer to follow sum insured offered by insurance company usually no issue with new cars but strictly applied to used-car and certain company does not offer agree-value to reconditioned cars. Perhaps BMW tight up with Allianz just like Honda tight up with MSIG - I got full claim from MSIG for a stolen Honda Accord in 2010.

Damn.. So many incidents.

U know what guys.. instead proudly driving our F30 on the road, i think we need safe guard them. My SA told me that i would get 100% reimbursement if anything happen but its doesn't stop me from worrying especially when driving with family.

Good to hear that its full claim. but just like me, ur ncd will gone. Mine was 55%, so its quite alot too.....

Doesnt make sense that bsri cannot be transferred as the services that has been paid for hasnt been rendered. Go to court or tribunal and I think you've got a good case. Dont accept the crap bmw throw at you.

OMG!!! nowadays, everything is getting crazy on our social security. I doubt police know what are they doing. catching illegal parking and giving out summons instead of catching all these hardcore criminals. I like everything about 1 Malaysia. but im not too sure now as even crime has gone "1 Malaysia" style if you guys know what i mean. Be safe out there guys and girls..

now a days everywhere is not safe!!! our government is not even trying to prevent!!! i guess our police also scared themselves cause those criminals have more high tech guns and etc!!!

buy nice car dont buy nice car also will kena!!! its all depends on luck!!! unless u drive those cars with low resale value..ie ford, alfa and etc

My sweet babe (WXW8680), barely had it for 4-months was hijacked oN 21st May 2013, around 8pm in PJS 10 housing area (opposite of sunway pyramid). Hijackers were 2 chinese buggers, came driving in a Naza Forte white, WWW6623. Flaunted me a 3-ft parang, and i say "take it".

i'll post some pics of it as it's quite distinguishable because of the front lip, rear trunk & roof spoiler, black grill (with a Msport emblem), 18" M3 5-spoke rims & pray that watchful eyes of bimmer forummers can scan around...although chances are near to nil, I know.

Next day, saw china press reporting that 2 other victims fell prey to (maybe) the same buggers, all in PJ area. One poor guy (lost his F30 too) was beaten, stripped & left by the roadside near a graveyard. Third victim was a well known local lady actress (can't recall her name but i'm sure fans of S'pore chinese drama series or WahLaiToi would recognize her) in a Merc SLK. She was bruised all over her pretty, young face...kesian.

Although I'm somewhat thankful for not incurring any injuries or ordeal during the hijack, but I'm frustrated over the spat of crime incidences happening to our 1Msia lately. Child raping (sometimes in a gang!), kidnapping, breakins (IGP so what?!), murder by hired gunmen, hijack of cars (even ATM machines!), conmen, slash-then-rob gangs, the list goes on...Things are getting brutal & extreme. No more "khau choi" (money) only mentality. It's really really depressing...What's our police force doing?! Busy with post-GE13's aftermath (ie PR's continual mega ceramahs)? Or busy with the transitional matters between Ismail & Khalid? Can u imagine even the 'kiasi' chinese has no fear anymore?! They didn't even wore masks!

Back to my story, to cut it short, Ingress told me that the extended BSRI (to 5-yrs) worth RM9k that i paid won't be refundable or rebated, despite not utilizing even 1 service at all! Can any forrummers give some professional advice on this? They're pushing this to BMW now. I'm contemplating to bring them to tribunal court if they won't budge. This is, in a way, another hijack of my hard earned wealth, don't you think so?

Care to elaborate how it happened?

How did they know it was your car ?

I always scan my surroundings and wait till the very last moment to open my car door.

Cause god dammit, the whole bmw lights up like a christmas tree.

For me, when I am alone

1. Look around
2. Walk up to the car and open only the driver side

If there are dodgy people around, I turn around and walk back where I was coming from OR

Run to the car, open it up and lock the car immediately.

Seven held over PJ vehicle thefts, carjackings

MAY 27, 2013 (The Malaysian Insider)

SHAH ALAM, May 27 — The Selangor police rounded-up seven men in Petaling Jaya last Wednesday and Thursday on suspicion of being involved in carjacking and car theft cases.

The suspects, in their 20s and 30s, were detained at separate locations, at Desa Mentari and Ara Damansara, by a team tracking down suspects in a carjacking case reported in Damansara.

Acting Selangor police chief Datuk A. Thaiveegan said the incident in Damansara occurred about 6.30am on Wednesday when a Proton Waja car, with four men inside, crashed into the rear of a Toyota Hilux.

“The driver of the Toyota Hilux got down from the vehicle to check the damage when the men in the Proton Waja threatened him and then fled in his car,” he told a media conference here today.

Following a report lodged by the Toyota Hilux owner, he said, police tracked down the four suspects at Desa Mentari and arrested them at about 10.30pm the same day.

Their arrest led police to Ara Damansara, where another three suspects were detained at 2am the following day, he added.

Following their arrest, Thaiveegan said, police also seized several items, including a knuckle duster, gloves and a machete.

The suspects, who had previous records including for house-breaking, robbery and drug abuse, will be in remand until May 30 to facilitate investigations, he added.

Sorry to hear about this bad news. I'm from Penang and I come over to KL n PJ area since last Sunday. After reading your post, I felt a bit tension when driving my F30 at night with my family. The safety around Klang valley seems to be a major concern to the resident at this area.

Sad thing is that these suspects will be out on bail in no time and then will be in hiding for a long time.
This is the way our judicial system works and they always get away scott free and back to crime in no time.
That is also why its noted that the suspects all have previous criminal records.
This is a major syndicated activity, if you cannot bust the head its pointless coz these suspects r just pawns.

Anyway glad tt u r alright and hoep the emotional scarring subsides over time, should not prevent you from getting another beemer tho

Yeah ... You are right. Best to summarily execute them. No need trial etc. so much more effective right?
