Maybe it's a fake gun, there are a lot of real looking dummys available at the northern border. Previous incident by the same car, any shots released?

But then again, is it worth it to tempt them..?

Aidil look at the news, malaysia becoming like wild wild west la..shooting everywhere, still wanna take chance checking out ori or fake:4:

Sorry to hear about the hijacked. Hope police will find the culprit soon.

Sorry to hear about your loss but glad that you + gf were not seriously harmed...

Will keep a look out.

Wish I had the skills of Liam Neeson in these situations. Either kill them at the moment, or track them down later and make a call to them 'I don't know who you are, but I know what you want. I do have a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my car go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.'

2 chinese men in their mid-20s, I went up to my car and was about to close the door, one of them held the door and another pointed the gun at me. Happened about 1045pm behind secret recipe Taman Megah, just after the Pasar Malam.

Very sorry bro. Hopefully the cops will look into this and solve it asap. Infact with the AES all around. it should not be a problem to locate the car.

Sorry 2 hear abt yr car. Pasar malam nite somemore.Where yr car was hijacked , d exit road is only thru old town kopitiam n ketam restaurant where there was a robberry a few weeks ago. Glad that u n gf were not harmed.

Yes bro, there was a big robbery there a few weeks back.
In fact, just as I was makIng my report a woman came in to report she was gang raped around the same area.
It's getting ridiculous what's happening around us

Sorry to hear about the case, read about it on Facebook. Damn, I frequent Taman Megah as well quite often. Hope you get to find your car. Will keep an eye out.

Very sad news but thankfully you and your mrs were fine. Sorry for your loss but hopefully everything will turn out fine at the end and those culprits get punished for their actions!

And he will said 'GOOD LUCK' in hockkien slang

Still no respond from the police, I suppose chances getting slimmer by the minute...disappointed

There is GPS in the car, I wonder why can't the car be tracked? Even smartphone when they are turned off (battery still intact), police can track the location just by the IMEI number alone.

Good luck in getting back your car. If they use your car for further action, you still have chance to get it back.

Is there such functionality in Malaysia? I know in UK they have it there but it's subscription based...

There is bro ... have it checked out with the insurance company .... best to get the info from your competitor insurance first :top: ....

..very sorry to hear what happen to you bro..really..i cant do much about whole thing, but i can share what I do...when im approaching my vehicle, i never ever approach it directly..instead, i just take short walk around, in order to observe surrounding vehicles FROM BEHIND..because, if you looking nearby car from front side, you cant see if someone is bent down, however, from behind, you see entire interrior and eventually someone sits in there..also, such move (lil walkie around), doesnt pointing what vehicle is yours therefore, potential thiefs have no clue about it, unless they know it in advance (what is entirely different story), but even in that case, observing vehicles around, on way i said, is very very good headstart, and radius of observation should be based on how quickly you can unlock, sit, start engine and make a move, without been approached from further spot you have observed..thats what I do, appart from clerly exposed baseball batt handle , visible from my backback...also, i suggest to everyone to install some custom made switches, needed to be turned on before car key takes place in startup process, on that way even when you handle keys over to thief, you can run away, until he realize that hes going nowhere with car (not that he cant bypass it, its just...no time for it..)..

from what i heard by a policeman..iphone can be tracked but it gives a location like a building with many ppl and difficult to them finding who is having it..unless the culprit who stole alone on a big area..never heard anyone get back their phone through this way so far..

Bro maroonbug.. sorry to hear about the incident..just be glad that they didnt harm you and ur loved one..

Thanks for the tips. Actually at that time I was supposedly vigilant as it was quite dark and most cars has left. In fact I was telling my gf to be careful. I believe the first guy that came after me was hiding behind the next car, where his partner in this golf gti gave him the signal by flashing his lights.
It's best also to park your car reverse in, but in my case that wasn't an option. But I'm glad nothing happened to me.
