Mizhan, is your other e30 a 325i?


Evilnickwong, running with that 5w-40 do you need to top up engine oil frequently or until your next service? And whats your interval like? Thanks.

yup, an M20B25.

No need to topup. I service at 5000km or 6mths, whichever is first.
The Bardahl isn't a true full synthetic, so at RM80+, it's cheap enough to just service every 5000km.

Thanks bro for your info. Will also try fully synthetic next round. However, my usage of the e30 is quite low like less than 10000km a year thus am not sure if the oil would evaporate? Supposingly no but some horror stories leave me with some doubt.

That's more than me. I stay and work in Singapore now, only back to drive the E30 every 2 or 3 weeks.
