Agree with mikoloh. MSpeed have done a fairly good job. Ah Meng and John have been helpful. Naidu (Jalan Gasing, Shell St) is the person for aircon and such.
Agree too they help me a lot in terms of trouble especially when my previous 325 got problem. If i calculate back they are in the loss in terms of time spent solving my problem. I still stick with them Ah Meng and John in terms of car repairs coz they have very good trouble shooting. Thumbs up for those guys :yahoo: :D

Me voted MSpeed (USJ) too. Helpful, sharing, experience and price reasonable.

One disadvantage is no restaurant around. Only mineral water and 'HACKS' sweet that Ah Meng/John be able to serve while waiting for your bimmer check-up or operation.

Servising at UltraTune OK huh? The queue is shorter than AB.
He He He....

Go to ultratune and you will feel that your Beemers is like proton only. There are so many Ferrari, Porsche etc there that make you beemers looks like ciplak car.

Nothing wrong with them, just that the class is a little different.

Cheers

Anyone with any experience with Stuttgart in Taman Megah?
My parents have been sending all their cars there for repairs and servicing. seem to be quite good. how reasonable, i'm not sure..

In 11 years of servicing Beemers:

(in chronological order)

1) Joe in Kampung Kayu ARA (probably not there any more)

Conman who used to take customers cars to mamak at night, and god knows where else after that.
I once went to check on my car only to find out someone had taken it out to Ta Pau food!
Never went back......

2) M Power - Mayang Jaya

Nathan is a nice guy ( experienced can be quite smart if he wants to be ) but his workers are crap!
Diagnostics sometimes suspect! Too chaotic and messy.Poorly managed and some dubious deals have transpired.

3) H-Motorsport - Used to be at Mobil JLN University, now is Subang

Khidzir is a extremely helpful chap. Good diagnosis. His right hand man, Sabri is the main man there now.
Been going there for years when it was at Mobil. As honest as a mechanic can be.....
Can arrange Easy Payment Scheme if needed. Very good breakdown service.
Stopped going there coz too far and the place is a mess.Too many cars, too little space.

4) Stuttgart - Mayang Jaya

Have known Eddie for 11 years. China man who loves Beemers.
Good ,clean service. Professional shop. But pricey.

5) FD Jaya - Behind Heritage....Petaling Utama

Oi seems to be very experienced. The shop is nothing to shout about, but I like it coz it's not too busy, so he can give hands on attention to my car. Reasonable charges.

Thinking of checking out Heritage....

Have fun!

lildevil, a word of warning. Do make sure that you get a second/third opinion before commiting to any repair works done by that particular workshop. You don't necessarily always get what you pay for.

hi folks, i'm from penang/b'worth area.

could the forummers here recommend me some good workshop something like the mspeed(s) and naidu(s) you have in KL.

"Benz and Bimmer Auto" workshop
-----------------------------------------------

This workshop just opened a few doors away from Jason Foo's Optimum Automotive in Damansara.

Anyone tried it before? How is the quality of service and price?

M speed.

This guys even call me day after repair work done to see everything goes well.

Never experience such services from any other workshops. Friendly. Good job done.

Meng hope you see this.

Seems Heritage was well applaude  I will give them a try especially after I got a flyer at a petrol station saying they give a free inspection if we ring them! Anyone tried this free thingy? How's the pricing? Hmm..

M-speed directions:

from USJ (Summit), turn towards Giant USJ. At the traffic light before Giant, turn right towards the industrial area. You will see a Rio De Futsal signboard. Head straight on that road (about 1km) and go past the first traffic light. After the traffic light, turn on the first left and go in. You will see rows and rows of workshops. Turn on the first right and then follow the road which turns to the left. M-Speed is on the 2nd row of shops.

Another landmark is the Recall Paper factory I think. Follow that signboard.

Hi, i'm a total newbie and don't even know the various classifications used to distinguish the different models of BMW, e.g. E23, etc.

I have a 1983 728i, that I bought a year ago and have spend a good amount of money maintaining. So far, I've just taken it to a Volvo specialist near my place (I know, it''s lame), but having just moved to Malaysia a year back, I've yet to get my bearings on where to go for such things.

Anyway, I'm tired of being overcharged, and would like to know who are the best and most reliable (from an honesty and workmanship perspective) BMW workshops for my model year. I've noticed a lot of recommendations for M Speed and was also intrigued by the BP Station on Jalan Gasing, which is run by a mechanic who worked at BMW Concessionaires during the years my car came out. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get to either place. Can someone PM or email me the directions to these two places (going from Damansara Utama), and also the names of any other good mechanics. Sorry for the long post.

Hi all,

anyone know this workshop in Pandan indah is good or not? it is 1 or 2 shop beside the corner acc shop. a banner with "BMW specialist" is hung there.

one more in taman megah i think? 1 workshop in a corner house with alot of bmw cars around it

what do you guys thi about these workshop?
