BRO.....INITIAL M ........I knw lah they r not bmw dealer but they use the uk software to do the program ,sometimes they got the latest version than AB........to soft my problem....
if no trust go n ask ...... them.........
i thing i can confirm that is ( when the u.k bmw release new model r u can confirm that AB malaysia hav allready release?????????????????????? So them can giv me the software version is AB can't giv me ............
My car is E60 530i , they charge me in RM380 - 1 times online.i ask them to do the( TV dis lock when during acceralation )....

i personally go with initialM. i been there for couples of times with that bullshit garage. now no more business for that Wong. its !@#@#$$#%$%^^&& for me...before he secure the deal from me, he fucking promised me a lot of things. he intially told me tat after the software upgrade, i wont feel any delay or slow respond upon entering iDrive menu. few weeks after i try out, i realized its much more slower than my previous version. i ask him y so laggy as is not wat he had promised n assured by him earlier b4 the upgrade done? he replied me...begining sure no lag later on certainly will lag and apply to all e60. wtf answer is tis? knnbccb tis fxxking shop ...i stick tis o0o for him and his fxxking shop forever.

No need to fight lar on this. As BMW7833 says u can go to any workshop u like.
Only that I don't like mech that con & cut throat. So far after owning 3 BMW in more than 5 years. I practically know all the BMW specialist in JB & some even their background & history. I'm not just own & drive BMW. I love & play wt BMW. Learn every single details bout it from time to time. Its bout the precise & details engineering bout BMW that amazed me. Everybody has their own experience & its yr own personal view. No need to use vulgar word.
Chookleng is just showing his frustration to the workshop based on his experience. So BMW8181 no need to shoot him. This forum is bout sharing & know each other better for the love of BMW. U guys can have access here for free & benefit from the info.
BMW8181 may I know what version does M1 use? How sure its latest version than AB?

i just can comfirm that m1 used is the u.k software .i really seen before m1 online , them request the password to program my car .....i can comfirm that them used the latest software cause before i go m1 ,i repair jb autobavaria ,my car got some problem ,my i-drive blank ,they told me hav to reprogram back but i put the car about one week ,the ab just told me my car ULF can't used wants to change,after that my friend advise me to go m1 try .........
after i go m1 ,wong just told me no need to change .only put down the car two days and reprogram back.
really what wong say ,my i-drive can use allready and the aux-in got.......and one thing i can comfirm that if the car send ab program before the ouside shop can't do the program if they r no the latest version ,,,,,right ?????????
wong just charge me around rm 400 ...... untill now no any problem..........:love:

Good that u solved yr problem. Yr car is CKD or AP recond? Personally I don't prefer AB coz I cant see my car while they attend the car & normally they required longer time to repair & sumore they price high of course. Since my cars are old junk & don't have warranty so no need to go to AB. The reason I want to discuss more wt you is that to verify on the honesty of our mech. Pure reason not to be conned by workshop. I learnt thru hard way also. Just imagine I have to change my oil sump gasket for 4 times already & still leaking. Now I got to know new mech that just open workshop & he was ex AB staff for 12 years. Maybe you can meet him together wt me so that we can have constructive discussion & not to blame anyone just for benefit of all.:top:
