In Sungai Petani, there is a workshop called Jackson Auto Repairs.
Head to New Tesco (the big one) and just go pass it, on the left (given that you are coming from south) you should see their sign.

He is also a member of BMWCM. :)

Good service and friendly too.

I send my Estima for service, they charged like BM. Still remember i went there for a simple oil change, after the oil change (less than 20mins) the mechanic did a 'magic show'. He show me how to make my aircond cooler by spraying this 'special solution' (i think just a normal multipurpose cleaner) on my radiator and for that, they charged me RM80 for labour. Didn't even noticed the difference before and after. Jual ubat tepi jalan kind of style

By the way, I'm sending my 2009 e90 LCI m-sport today to Beemerholics. let see if anything ugly turns out.

Beemerhlics workshop seems OK. Quite straight forward. For normal service:
2 X Helix Fully Synthetic
1 X Oil Filter
Workmanship

Total around 5xx.

On the wear and tear parts, the mechanic told me that all the parts are still OK. Not easy to find a workshop/mechanic that can make that statement. Usually they seems to try to change those/other parts as well when we asked that kind of question.

Second question to that guy was how much should I pay for the next service. Again, he said just do normal service and the other parts should be still OK. hmmm.. might be a good place for me to continue servicing my car.

Any comment?

Hi Guys,

DIRECTIONS TO MSPORT - AMAN SURIA

1) As u drive towards NKVE toll from EASTIN, theres a slip road into Tropicana right? Also slip road allows u to turn to Bandar Utama. Well take the slip road and exit left into Tropicana. Follow the road straight on till you see a main T-Junction... KEEP GOING STRAIGHT...

2) the road will turn right, and after a few speed a bumps and keep following the road (u'll feel like ure entering a cowboy town) until u see an OLD TOWN cafe on ur left. Turn left at OLD TOWN... head straight on till u see a BMW logo at the end of the road on a corner shop... thats when u brake coz ull crash ur car into Kenny's...

PS: If ure coming from TROPICANA GOLF CLUB... at the main T-JUNCTION... where everyone suddenly forgets the ABC routine when crossing a junction... ure the C... and turn RIGHT... follow step 2)... theres another way from Kayu Aman Suria... but I'm too lazy explain... but if u found OLD TOWN from there... just turn RIGHT n go straight...

Just to gather enough information prior to any required repair/replacement to be done. Is there any specific specialist which is more familiar with E60 530d? Or should I just not worry as serving the "d" is routinely same as the petrol variant?

Would Optimum Kayu Ara ok for that? I'm still considering whether I should resume the services in Ingress after I took over the car or should seek for a good/reliable specialist outside.

Anybody know the mobile number of one of the worker from Chu Seng, Penang that left a month ago ?
