Actually Malaysians are only allowed to use their own Malaysian registered cars if the cars are not kept in Singapore overnight. The cars have to be out of the country for at least 6 hours a day, but this is only for Employment Pass holders. I commute to Singapore daily for work with my Malaysian UDM. But you still got to pay S$20/day VEP fee? If 20 working days per month, it will be S$400 = RM1,000/month VEP fee!

Yup bro, no way of getting around this. If we want to drive our malaysian cars in SG then have to pay. Still cheaper than buying a car in SG though. I'm lucky as company paying for transport
