But you still got to pay S$20/day VEP fee? If 20 working days per month, it will be S$400 = RM1,000/month VEP fee!

Yup bro, no way of getting around this. If we want to drive our malaysian cars in SG then have to pay. Still cheaper than buying a car in SG though. I'm lucky as company paying for transport :)
