Dear All,I haven't been active ever since i registered myself in BMWCM, this is due to the fact that the nature of my job requires me to travel quite often ( Offshore), anyway i'm a new owner of an E46, 318 Ci 01/06 since 15 of January 2012..eversince ownership of this said UDM i have experience a few problems...my first encounter was temperature raises to the " red zone " ..had to stop the car beside of the road and i immediately called the tow truck as to avoid any further damage etc of the engine, the car were sent to my mech ( previous owner use to sent upon )..the culprit were the radiator fan, replaced the unit and touch wood till today the problem didn't re-occured..but now i'm facing 2 other problems ..i really hope you guys will be able to assist me regarding these..as follows : -1 - The engine dies off when i crank it ( not during cold start, usually after cruising around ), it doesnt happens quite often ...i need to restart/crank a couple of times for the engine to be at the idle position 2 - My recent return to Malaysia ( KL ) i noticed the were some oil stains below of my engine located just at the " front left tyre "..as my trip to KL was a short one , i didnt had the oppurtunity to send my UDM to the mentioned workshop..what can it be the cause?..i'm suspecting " Power Steering Fuid " leakageAs i'm base in Singapore, i have the advantage to purchase some spare parts from here at a reasonable price..infact the problem mentioned in item no : 1 , i purchased the ignition coil and spark plugs( hope this is the cause 
) ..i do understand that what i seek upon might have been discussed before but nevetheless your kind assistance is much appriecieted Additional info...mine is an E46, 318 Ci 01/06 , engine M43B19TU, mileage is around KM160,000 plus..what else do i need to check/replace to ensure other items doesnt fail on me in the near future understand this is subjective but just as a precautionThanking you'll in advanceBest regardsPrevin
