All sifu, pls give me advise on which model is better. So far, i saw few ci version that i might planning to buy, 318i 1900cc, 318i 2000cc 6 cyclinder and 325 ci. I've noticed 325 comes with original double din player with nav, leather seat and nice door handle whereas 318 only have normal fabric seats and etc. Of course 325 is more power, but what is others cons and pros compared to 318 1.9 and 2.0. I need sifu advise, cause im going to sell off my E46 4 door. :D

stay away from 4 pot BMW's.. unless they're turbo diesels :)

Why? Any comments? So means that 6 plotter is easier to maintain? : )

Since you have yet made the commitment, off course go for 325ci laaa....as long as you have a reliable mechanic to assist your purchase so you don't end up with bad gearbox or engine (goes the same for any 2nd hand car)

all cars require maintenance, regardless the number of cylinders. just that in order to enjoy a modern BMW, you'll need at least 200bhp.

Maintaining the 2.0 N42B20(4 pot) is not cheap either even when comparing to M54B25(6 pot). It's well known N42 has a bunch of o-rings, oil seals and gaskets which never fail to fail on you. It's not a bad engine once you know what could go wrong but 325 has almost 50bhp more....

Meaning now only left 2 choice for me, which is 318 1.9 ci or 325 ci. Yeap it is true that 2.0 6 cyclinder is much reliable, which currently im having E46 4 door, 6 cyclinder. There is a owner 320ci 6 cyclinder wanna exchange car with me. His car is blue colour but no bodykits or accessories, only have 18". What u guys think of it ? I need to check the interior, seats. If i dont like it, then i will just go for 325 ci. All sifu, is it 325 ci comes with original double din nav player, leather seats, nice door handle ?

Currently am driving 320i 2.2 6 cylinder manufacture 2003 in jpn. This baby gave me no problem at all since I bought and registered in Msia in 2008 jpn specs, except normal maintenance like brake pads, air filter, front bushing, aircon resistor, belt tensioner, belting and of course transmission fluid and engine oil. Roadtax is only RM551 compare to 325 which is ard 800 something. Basically 6 cylinder 320i is more than enough interms of power but you maintaining it without much hassle.

However due to increase in the number of family am planning to sell and buying mpv. Anyone interested to see my bimmer you can tag me at 012 3151960
