I wonder too. Cause i actually couldn't do up a proposal to submit to BMW Malaysia before i left Malaysia for CNY holiday on 18th Feb and back to Malaysia only on the night of 23rd Feb, so it pass the submission deadline on 21st Feb. So i didn't even go for the interview on 24th or 25th Feb.

Hmm.. I think it must be just his wild guess :D

was just reading some of the postings here, and i have some comments.. for a start, its not a "racing school". its an advanced driving school.. its back to basics... steering technique, driving position, collision avoidance, skid control...etc. etc.. also, im pretty sure it teaches potential students all about the safety features in bmw's, how they work and how to use them.

if i'm not wrong, those selected still have to pass the "driver assessment stage" where the german chief instructor will make the final evaluation i think.. so its not plain sailing just yet.

hey fellas, is there any chance ppl interested can apply now? many have only just heard abt it

No la. dont say like that ;) there are a lot of people out there with a fair or better chance of getting selected.

besides that, I work full time for another automotive company.
I am automatically disqualified. No point to even go there and waste everyones time ;)

but i did have an interesting chat with someone who sits on the panel of selectors though. got a good insight into the selection process, and the need to be tough and very selective. To me, getting thru the 1st part is one thing, but the 2nd part, when you actually have to get behind the wheel, and prove that the knowledge applies practically as well. thats the tough part. talking dont help anymore then.

also, if anyone has any concerns on a so called leak of results, i can assure you all, as someone who has no interest in this, personal or professional, there is definitely no leak!

Well they want to make sure the candidate is able to maintain courteous professionalism at all times worthy of the BMW marque. That includes self presentation, communication skills and personality.

The 2nd part should be that bad, as long as the candidate can keep cool and doesn't start swearing in some funny dialect when the going gets dicey lol (sorry, zoggee). It'd also help if you don't get in the car and ask the professional instructor which one is the brake pedal :p And also if the german professionals don't dash out of the car puking his bratwurst lunch out at the end of it :p LOL. Smooth and easy should be the name of the game.
