singh...i doubt hell may break loose. the shop owner prob doesn't care what is said. he might loose a few customers, but many more will still be there. after all, i'm sure he has his own following and satisfied customers. but its good public awareness la. hahahaa....name and shame.

Albert has settled all the electrical nightmare in my friends E38. Instrument cluster now works like before, although the annoying pixelation still remains. RDS and radio functions perfectly. Problem resolved by changing a used/in tact wire harness.
My friend has asked me to kill the story as he does not need the publicity, however I have coaxed him that this is a moral duty that we uphold in the forum to care and share and let individuals make their own call on what to believe and what not. So until he does not give me the green light, I am afraid, no further action from me.
Some of you have already suspected/speculated and got the answer. Use any info wisely and make your own decisions. No one is perfect. Most recently I also read a thread about my own trusted mechanic and what he has allegedly done.....so such is life.
