I have received my '07 E90 325i... need advise from all sifu...

Hi All sifu,

I have just received my 2007 E90 325i 95k km.. and already send it to my friend workshop..

Will do a full service for the car as below...

1) Engine Oil change with oil filter

2) Air filter change

3) Micro filter change

4) Fuel filter change

5) Break fluid change

6) Power steering fluid change

7) ATF fluid and filter change

8) Axle fluid change

Can all the sifu advice is there any other item i should replace but not in the list...?

Do i need to change the Crank and Cam shaft sensor...? I have change this 2 sensor on my previous E36 328i... after change it i feel the engine respond was totally different.

Just wonder do i have to change it..?

And can you all advice some good work shop near bandar Utama or Kepong area... Cause my friend is just a normal workshop... i think i might need some specialist to take care my car in future..

how much does it costs for axle fluid change?

Just the axle fluid already cost me 2xx per liter... and my car need around 3 liter...

im on hold changing this item recently... awaiting is there any other option to go aside BMW original axle fluid...

Is there anyone can advise here...?

RM2XX per litre? Sounds overpriced. OEM fluids cost only about RM40-80 per litre.

Usually we change all the fluid , check seal and sensor for a used bmw.

All you need is to clean your engine bay and underneath , to observe if there's any leak

For the differential oil, please use the correctly specced oil. I presume the one they are quoting is 75w90? You can find similar specced ones outside as well if you want to save on the costs. If you use brands like Motul or others it will be 100+ for the fluid.

Otherwise get the fluids from the BMW stockists and get a mechanic outside to change your differential oil.
