Wish to get the car wash everyday. :top:At least I will wash the rim with extreme tyre shine every 2 days. That will make the car bold and shine.Normally wash twice a week.Mid weekday, I send to auto Detailer wash nearby my house and on weekend, the car will be gently and crafted hand-washed on my own.

As a daily ride, itu rim manyak kotor with the brake dust. this is the first thing which gets the dirtiest always. :(

Every 2 days...actually my good Cambodian maid does it (bless her)...I taught her how...with Nanomite Swiss Made Car Shampoo For Car Care and Detailing. Nanotechnology has entered the car shampoo arena-might as well use it! Not cheap though...almost 50 ringgit for a not so big bottle...but its good!!

Did you teach the maid to wash...ahem...other things?

Salut

Luckily the cat didn't leave any scratches. My dad's old Toyota Corrola was scratched badly by two cats in heat.

hm.... i used to wash my black civic once a week....

since i got my E90 alphine white... i have been washing it almost twice a week... hm..... white color really harder to take care..hehe... i use good quality car care product.. and also the washing is very gentle... one car wash owner said this to me before that it is not recommended to wash your car too regular...as it will increase the chances of leaving swirl mark and taking the protecting coat away.... correct me if i am wrong

yupp
agreed

the thumb of the rule is to wash weekly & wax regularly ( very washing create a friction & frictions sometimes might be a light swirls - depending on the cloth you use - old rags or terry towel - argh.....the cotton fibres will soon inflict swirls - over time the spider webs grow bigger - and if this is wash by the road side - it is even =faster than expected
they might also transfers some 'FUND".....oppss...i mean transfers more damaged, as they do not periodically change their soap sponges, and the pores of it might give yr paint R.I.D.S......aka random isolated scratches

they are so many good way to get your car wash properly - choose a method thats suits you.....as for me...3 microfibres & 8 litres of water:burnout:
as often as you could

* finally just like the wax protected the apple from decay same goes with yr paint....it is found in almost every car manual.....a recommendation by the manufacture themselves....
protection is better than just clean*

enjoy yr journey ...

basically - i brush it , with the remainder of the onr solution i have & rinses my brushes and again...in the solution...what happen is ONR concentrate the water 75 times...& the tension it creates simple just hold the dirt in the bottom of the solution

HI KC... I know you are expert in car care... may i ask is it recommended to use water pressure pump? i have been using water pressure pump.. dunno whether it is good....or bad... coz i don see you recommend using it.. this is how i was my car...

1. pressure pump... to get rid of all the dust before washing..
2. microfiber towel to wash my car with meguiar gold car wash.
3. meguiar wheel cleaner
4. dry the car with microfiber towel..
5. so far never use a wax before... which wax is recommended? also worry that if i apply the wax myself, i may scratch the car.. hehe

kc.. thanks.
the problem is at times I have to take my car on not so nicely maintained roads (akak dirt roads, muddy and all). I am worried about the undercarriage and so I go to places where they use the pressure pumps.

I need to get some stuff from you lah.. will call :) :)

Hey bro, can read the past threads written by KC, Seech, John Smith and ICEMAN just to name a few. They're very informative.

Btw, before you start waxing, do remember to clay first. :D
