How often? What do you use to wash? What shampoo do you use?Any special techniques/methods to share? How do you dry?

3 times a week :) Wish I could say I did it, but I pay a nice guy 45 bucks a month. If I had a better paint job it would receive more personal attention ;)Any car specific soap is good, just make sure you have a good coat of wax on there, especially with all the sun and rain in this region.A good cleaner wax I've used for 12 yrs now is called NuFinish........still haven't found a better product but they don't sell it down here so I bring it in from the US.For drying, soft bath towels are quickest and good to use........or of course real chamois'.For the windows, it's best to use newspaper (w/ window cleaner) so you don't get streaks....works like a charm on the car and at home ;)

Thanks for sharing Chris,I have tried Nufinish when I was in the states and I must agree that it's pretty good stuff!

How often? At least once week. More if I get back home earlier during the week-days.What do you use to wash? Cloth... newer cloth for the top part and older one for the bottom part. What shampoo do you use? Cannot remember... used many different chapalng brand. Currently on Johnson something? Me al-cheapo mar.Any special techniques/methods to share? The usual technique... wash and rinse. How do you dry? Using microfibre cloth.

Twice a week would be average...definitely once during weekend and once during weekday if I reach home early...My wash kit consists of NXT car wash and I use a fluffy mitt (not a sponge)..I dry the car up with this orange kaler spongey cloth thingy (brand: perma glass)...which BTW works better when its all used and worn and when its damp..not so absorbent straight from dry...chamois too expensive marrr...Technique - NONE or rather no particular technique coz its dependent on my state of mind and general energy levels (I did say I was a lazy git!)...but I do make a point of doing evrything panel by panel....Ooh oh I forgot to mention...I finish off the job with NXT tech protectant thingy for vinyl and rubber etc....nice clean car with brown tires dun look very nice so this product is the BOMB ...easy to use...I use it evrywhere There is rubber and vinyl that is).... I luuurrrve my car :)

Once a week if i'm hardworking. I've left it for a month before. Meguiars only for now. Used NuFinish years ago before as well. Cant find it in KL though.

Women ask these same questions when we talk about our hair!!! hehehe .... cabutz ..... :p

the car is washed every other day (i do it once a week, the detailed work inside, outside, engine boot...the rest by the maid la...body only)i only use running water with soft chamoiswax/polish ~3-6 months interval..all meguiars but dont ask me which ones....not too keen of doing it too often due to its poor paint job....maybe more frequent after a fresh coat of paint :D

Wash everyday: just rinse with tap water and then wipe off exterior and interior with Sonax cloth. If driven after rain, wash first with car wash shampoo and repeat a the same.Polish and wax once a month: with polish cloth together with Meguiar Gold and 3M Swirl Mark Remover (black wax). 3M first.Nufinish is quite good also and can be found in Penang from my paintshop guy.

I wash my car daily using Meguiar's shampoo.I dry the car with a blower and 2 microfibre towels, One for the top half, one for the second half.I find that the best indicator that your car needs a wash is when your front wheels start to look darker than the rear ones.
