Irritating sound near the windscreen

Hi guys,

My 320d is barely 2 months old. Mileage clocked 3k km. Only recently i noticed an irritating sound (can't figure out the source but seems like near the windscreen) whenever i hit 140km/h. I am sure i am not the first to encounter this prob. Any clue guys?

Mines abt the same mileage as yours and I had minor creaks on the pillars the 1st few days I had the car, this usually happen when go up a bump/ramp. I dont hear them anymore tho after the car 'settled'. Best have mech take a look bro..

Normal affair with the ckds it seems. Take it back to your dealer and get them to realign and seal your windscreen. It's a known problem and should be fixed easily.

You should get 3M taped around your pillars..again known problem that your dealers should fixed straight away

Wind noise at rear left door when speeding more than 130km/h... sounds like window is opened... will be sending it to Quill on Wednesday.. and yes.. the 12v power socket/lighter is not working too... the engine sounds quite loud too.. maybe can compare with other owner's...

I just solved the problem myself. That is the friction noise from the high gross rain channel and the door rubber. Please try to lubricate the rain channel and the rubber. All my chichichica ca gone. The M-sport high gross pillar, rain channel...not a good design...

Actually posted in the rattle sound... here again hope those big brothers don't mind.
For the lubricant, you can try engine oil (new one) just to test. Minyak kacang pun boleh!

Mine is M-Sport version, having the squeaky sound for months, tried every means without a cure. Finally, I tried to reproduce the squeaky sound outside by pushing up and down the door frame. The sound is coming from the Rain Channel!

The M-Sport Rain Channel has a highly glossy finishing surface and therefore isn't friendly with rubbers. They need lubricated. Here what I did. Remind that you must lubricate all 4 doors frame wherever the high-gross pillar is.

The Rattle Sound is actually coming from the M-Sport Pillar, you can insert some rubber to fill up the space and therefore no beating contact.
