Hi paulpaul,

Yeah, I saw them before, and if Im not wrong, the cars are even listed on the preowned section at the autobavaria website. Are they stored at Glenmarie or at their storage building in USJ?

Make sure you go through every bit and get the SA to send it for detailing again. Whos the SA you're dealing with ?

Btw, I got myself a preowned as well, also with about 600km on it, it was used as a directors car, as I was told. When signing the papers, I saw this British fella listed as the former owner. Car was immaculate, still had the new car smell!

my car also done 666+ km and still got new car smell also haha, btw when u bought ur car and any happen on it?how much u bought in wat year
? honestly , i am not very satisfield with the AB service, a bit poor as a huge company, i am buying over rm200k car and not buying a vagetable at pasar malam ler...hope they service can improve as my first time deal with AB car......

Hi paulpaul,

Have you test driven the car yet ?

For me my car was delivered in good shape. No complaints, I just hate the RFT's...but planning to change the off after the first 10k service.

With all the horror stories Ive heard abt AB, Im taking the car to Ingress for service.

The only thing I was pissed off was the SA had another appointment on the day the car was supposed to be delivered. Told the SA off to get my case done or there's gonna be a lot of noise here.

ghost rider, i already test drive the car and compare to the option 1 that's give me low perfomance, choosing opt 2 its right decision! why hate RFT? actually i worry about my RFT also because this tyre already 2 years, worry its can last how long...actually i am thinking to change 18 inc and use back normal tyre, but i heard my friend say u need to buy another one more rim put in the back as spare tyre right?

btw ghost rider when u bought ur car n how much u bought it?

245k, March.

Well, to use the word "hate" is actually over describing it. Just not happy...thats all. Its mostly due to the tramlining Im experiencing now. I plan to go up to 18's as well. As for spare tyre, I dont think theres any space to put it.

Touch wood, I've been lucky all the while, the last 5 cars I've been driving, never once had to use the spare tyre. I did get the occasional punctures, but no big dramas, always managed to drive to the tyre shop to get it patched.I hope same thing goes for the new wheels I plan to put on the beemer!

ur car its manufacture n register on 2006 also?u might to put ur car photo to here?i am very interest on ur car ler...hehe... i am thinking to change new rim after 10k km done, but i looking outside rims are no one its my cup of tea...i still love my previous e46 rim was breyton imagine 18 inc........yam yam.......

Yes, its registered Dec 2006. I dont have a picture with me but its stock...looks like any black sapphire 325i. Tyres are Pirelli Euforia RFT.

hehe astroboy, dun forget even "virgin" still got driven by factory worker, dock worker, salesman, and car washer before you. More important to be the best driver lol.

paul, I think you made the right choice versus the other option. In addition to the detailing, I would insist on a fresh oil change before taking delivery, as no way to know whether the oil has been changed since 2006. Knowing AB, probably not!

As for their customer service, usually dealers are nicest to you when you are still buying the car, so you can imagine how it'll probably be in the future :motz:

thanks all suggestion and now i hope my car can come out soon, really miss to driving bmw,and this its the first time i drive 6 pot engine car....so amazing!!!

cempaka: i must agree with u. when buying the car, the dealers are nicest to you. after owning the car, i chase after the sales advisors :(

Paul

Just curious. What do you mean by your E46 nightmare? Kindly share.

that's a big long story was store at old forum but i think already gone...

yrs 2004 i bought an e46 318i yrs 2000 from Mxng Hxng at Setapak.after i pick the car the nightmare was start, 2 weeks later my car cannot start then send to some workshop because that's recon unit from UK mean i cant go back to AB to service. In the outside workshop they find it out my car was manufacture on yrs 1998 !!! i am shock and they told me yrs 2000 e46 should come with tiptronic and mine dont have.mean i get cheat by the car price around 20k on 2 yrs,cos at that time i bought my car rm160k for yrs 2000 car, yrs 1998 car should be 130-140k.

then i start going to complain to the car dealer but seem doenst work since they have many " excuss " u all know de la no need to explain this.then i am fine just think to enjoy my new come bmw.

the more deep pain its coming that i keep fix my car on each week to put in all my money to this rubbish because the yrs of car was too old, problems all coming out and need me to fix it ( when i bought car the millage 13k only) then machanic told me that my car was adjusted millage that already 110k km done! WTF!!!!! i bought an old and heavy problem car.total time i drive this car was 1 yrs & 9 months, total spend maintanence spend on this car was RM 40k+..

and in the story end i was sold my car after 1 yrs n 9 months, and get back rm 0 money , mean i loss my downpayment at the first rm20k and installment between 1 yrs n 9 months...pretty sad story huh?that's why now i bought this bimmer from AB!i am scare !!!!!

story reminding :-
-beware the continental car recon from UK (uk spec its sux enough cos owner there wont take care they car much,my 2 cent no offend)
-car dealer at setapak name Mxng Hxng because they pro to cheat customer!!!!!i wont buy a little car from this car dealer anymore in my entire life!!!!!!
-check everything and get more information only buy ur car ( i was bought the car only know this club that's giving many useful suggestion n idea )

hope all can get a good ride in the future , cheers

Gee... sad to hear your predicament. Yes, buy new as your least worry will be breakdown unless you're unlucky like keeeekeee.

This is not the first time I hear about this company. I sold my car recently to someone who had earlier planned on buying same from another guy. He only came to me as a 2nd choice because it was discovered by the loaning bank that the import documents for the first vehicle 'was not in order' and thus rejected.

Now, we all know what that means don't we?

The first owner (probably still is) did not realize any discrepancies because he paid cash for the vehicle. So buying a used car on HP does have certain benefits apart from easy payments. At least they help you to sniff out any discrepancies. So just be careful guys!
