hi all experts....i kinda feel that my UDM isslacking when u wanna do a quick get-away.u know....when cruising along and suddenly depress the throttle....there is a bit of slack.i changed the vanos kit already.is it to do with cleaning the MAF or even changing the pre cat O2 sensor?my mileage is 97,000 milesE39 00/05.would appreciate any comment and solution.btw, its so hard to buy a bottle of CRC MAF cleaner.where on earth is it sold?im fr ipoh .called up brothers but not available.

depends on your expectations la actually.. what engine is your E39 using, and what do you expect after spending x amount of money on tweaks?

if you're really a power addict, i suggest you keep the E39 stock for daily/family purposes. use the cash you have (for tweaks) to put a downpayment on an E46 M3. with those two cars, you'll have the best of both worlds

actually her power is awesome but only lacks the responsiveness of a manual tranny.

check fuel supply - fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors
then air - the MAF, air filter

if everything's ok and you have compared with a similar E39 and not satisfied, get a sprint booster... still not enough supercharger.. not enough? engine upgrade to 530 or 535...not enough... ///M.. hope that's enough.

in fact i found that with hydrogen, the responsiveness improved .
but then again, interrupted and intermittent which brings me to suspect the MAF & O2 sensors.

full custom exhaust system = RM4k ++ from AH Heng exhaust....

Light weight alloy rims = RM dunno what k...

Cold air intake = Rm also dunno what suites best....

Remove completely all sound proofing.... lighter car = better pick up...

Hehe.. all mod rempit mat pokai wan... Good luck man.. hope you find some solution... I'm still sourcing for my E60 mods...
