Engine fault code 2C9C for O2 sensor

Hi guys. My car's engine threw a fault code 2C9C when I did a scan. Something to do with the O2 sensor Bank 1. Does changing the sensor solve the issue? Is it normally the O2 Bank 1 pre cat sensor that needs to be replaced?

No engine check light is on but fuel consumption on the high side about 15.3L per 100KM.

Solved by changing O2 Bank 1 Before Cat sensor.

Yes. Consumption reduced about 1.5 to 2L/100KM from changing the O2 sensor.

Yeah , changed mine 2 years back, the exhaust seems to show more carbon coat..and higher petrol consumption
