Notice stock map provided is not up to date. Is there anyway we can update it ourself or it need to be done by BMW?

The easiest route would be thru any authorised SC.
If u wanna do it urself, you need to login to https://www.bmw-connecteddrive.my/app/index.html#/portal. You need to register ur car first, before being able to use the service. u may download the map into a USB, then upload it back to the car. pretty simple.
