Software Update for F30 (2013) 328i model

Hi,
Anyone done any updates for the software and maps?
1) it seems to hang everytime i try bluetooth for music
2) the maps cannot is outdated as many places cannot be found?
3) iDrive no function?
4) BMW charges payment for iDrive services?

Anyone who done any of the above can share, I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Update is available here https://www.bmw.com/en/footer/software-updates.html
But it doesn't accept BMW Malaysia VIN, has anyone found a way around this? Please share

I've checked with BMW Malaysia this is the reply they gave me for my 328i 2012:

Dear Mr Steve,



Good day to you.


With reference to BMW ConnectedDrive compatibility for services, we have done further checks into our system and wish to inform you that your vehicle has no ConnectedDrive features available to it.



The main reason for this is because ConnectedDrive became available to cars with a production date post 7 July 2015. Per our records, your vehicle has an earlier production date of 7 July 2012. Hence, it does not have a built-in SIM card to allow for ConnectedDrive features.



Unfortunately the SIM card cannot be retrofitted past the date of production. We hope this provides clarification on the matter.
