Well, I'm glad I have it on my dash. In 3 years of using it when I needed it, it hasn't failed me yet. And any KL-lite who needs satnav around Curve/Ikea seriously needs professional help.

My DVD update didn't cost more than picking up the tab in a happy hours session, which I was happy to do anyway. Unfortunately, it's not so simple with the HDD version because they protect it, using encrypted passcodes in order to upload. That's standard software protection practice. But I bet I could find a crack keygen if I really need to.

any KL-lite who needs satnav around Curve/Ikea seriously needs professional help....you are mean XD

my mum has no idea how to get to the curve and she is from PJ haha

Your F10's Nav is the HDD version and you'll have to buy it from any authorised dealer, who will obtain the passcode through your VIN and upload it for you. No alternative, unless you can find an 'alternative' supplier who has cracked the passcode. Mine is the DVD version so that's easy enough to find.

I've upgraded to 2010, and the maps and location lists are good. Garmins, TomToms and iPhones aside, there's no substitute for having it on the dashboard screen and using the iDrive to manipulate it, while driving with the other hand on the steering. I have dozens of Garmins in my office, none of them sit in my car.

Yeah, I know the procedures for the F10's map update process. I just need the MY maps on the DVDs originally supplied by Teleatlas. Anybody has a copy to sell?

Absolutely nothing wrong with her. She just wants her filial son to keep taking her out, instead of only taking his girlfriend/wife out. :4: It's in the same category as men saying they can't cook or sew a button on.

Need anymore help understanding women? Here's another one: maps mean nothing to the majority of women because their main cognitive sense is not spatial. They learn a route by memorising landmarks. Hand a woman a map and she'll give it right back to you.

Hi ks888, no, haven't come across any 535i without navigation. Most of them come with the Euro maps with 12GB HDD. I'm not sure if retrofitting is available for the navigation system. If you have other options on the car that you really want, then you can forgo the navigation, i heard the MY maps aren't something to die for cause they're not super up-to-date.

bro xero, well actually i stumbled upon a few units of 535i without navigation and 10" screen. but the positive side is the cars are almost new e.g. travelled 100kms or less. that's why im contemplating whether i should go for an almost new car or a car that has a bit of mileage on it. i was also unsure about the cost of installing the navigation package, including the hassle. if you don't mind me asking, how much did you buy your car for? and also the specs? i just want to do some comparison notes with an existing owner. you can pm me if its better for you. thanks for helping bro!!

I heard the 2011 is out, I'm waiting for my DME to be flashed to the latest config before I could download that.

Funny the 2011 map on 'Perspective' mode contains only some buildings in 2D...I wonder what was their decision in picking the ones in 2D....

I updated my 2009 version to 2011. I used it in singapore. Everything in 3D. But my house still in the forest~
