TheTaj;797851 said:I seem to remember the original size was 14" for my dad's '81 E23 728i, cos i helped him wash the car back then, and i remember reading the tyre size on the sidewall, something like 195/70/14 or something.
TheTaj;798473 said:i checked the specs online and the 735i does come with 205/70/14 size...my dad's ex-728i slightly smaller at 195/70/14
If you are going for classic car status you will need some original size rim, not sure if your current rims will meet JPJ's requirement, just a thought

Both fuel pump and filter held using cable-ties... What theeeee...
Glad I decided to change it. Been like that for the last 15 years probably... LOL

Now you are done with cooling system, and you know what has been changed and when. I keep a log over all the stuff i do with the car (i have many) so i know what has been done and when. (comes in handy when it comes to oil changes in engine, gearbox, rear end etc.)
Sharizat: Classic BMW is one of the most forgiving classic to maintain, as you can get original parts over the counter from BMW for a 40-45 year old car. Try that with other makes of car, and yes it is hard. I have a 1800 from 1968-69, and i´m still buying most of what i need from BMW. It can take time as it has to be ordered from your local BMW dealer, from BMW Tradition

That where i can learn more as it does not have a lot of electronics to be scared of...true?? Rugi sold the old car ... I was in stock condition and fully rebuild exterior and interior.. Same goes to the parts and engine..
