I don't think so. I believe yr car comes wt M52B28 engine which using cable throttle. Sprint booster only applicable to drive by wire engine ie M54. I assume u experiencing sluggish acceleration rite. E38 is a heavy car so its more on cruising mode.:top:

another question to all sifu, E39 rims can fit E38 kah? what is the offset for E38? thinking change rims.

Pre-facelift has 728, 730,740 and 750. The 728 is running on M5x engine single vanos. The 730 above is M6x which is the V8 and V12 engines.

The facelift has also 728, 730 and above. The 728 is running on M5x engine double vanos and with drive by wire.

Therefore, E38 has the inline 6 which is the M5x engine and V8 which is M6x engines. All should be running the 5 speed computer gearbox.

The difference is the engine, digital aircon, front headlights (grill + bonet + fender + bumper) and rear tail lights.

The E38 has a lot of variance. So, depending on what you can find in the market.

Also there are E38 M-Sport (rims and suspension) or E38 Highline (with all the comfort accessories i.e comfort seats, blinds, and DVD display with GPS)

ALso some E38 comes with EDC or standard suspension.

The E38 runs from 1996 to 2002. Facelift starts from 2000 onwards.

Price ranges from 40k to 100k.

double vanos normally comes with drive by wire. But you can check if there is a trottle cable from your engine.
