Dear 3 series owners,Am I right to say that the cluch plate or whole clutch is due for replacement if the speedometer goes up slowly but the rev meter goes up much faster? Also after 5000rpm there is a flat spot ie. no speed improvement, is this an AFM problem which either needs cleaning or replacment?

found out the problem with the mech today, indeed it is due to clutch plate being worn out.. no wonder la car so slow...

E36Turbo, may I know what is your turbo setup? Did you use an aftermarket ecu with the turbo or r u using a turbo engine conversion (eg SR20).

Dan, his car used to come with Mosselman turbo.. which is a 'bolt on' turbo specially made for bimmers and mercs.

Rumours got it, that a forumer can diagnost ur engine from a far away..when you revving ur car ... he can even tell you that which piston are losing comprression and which seats is torn by listening to you vrooming away... B) and tell the horsepowers too.. B)

cipek..!!! :beaten: *sigh*..why cant I do that...even my wireless Zodic 3 oso kalah oh... :(
