Improve fuel consumption, super silent engine ...

Good Luck

bro xcrave, thanks for the info..but i feel 5w-40 will be very thin for my engine (320i 2.2 Jap Spec year 2003)..wat do u think?
and this gona be the 1st time im gona give a shot on addictives..wonder how to mix? is 1 bottle of cera tec enough for 7 litre engine oil?

can anyone give a wise advice? my main concern is my engine is consuming engine oil..
for a treatment, should i use;
5w-40 or 10w-40?
any idea how much is the price?

Bro try Ravenol, been using it so far so good, engine still consume oils but lesser compare to the other oils i used :)

Bro Ibrahim Hanif, so far how's the result bro?? did you use any addictive?

Hmm. Mine always consume engine oil. Some more leaking doesn't solve till now. Mine is n42. The oil 15w 40 for sure no performance but the oil is much cheaper because mine always top up. To top up about 1 liter every 1000km. :banghead:Dont know what to solve already after done everything

Bro Arnold, which Ravenol you're referring to??

i use ravenol 5-30 fully syn so far makan also not much after 9k only turun sikit less than 1 litre, i tried torco sr-1 10-40 7k topup 1 litre huhu

I think for older engine should use thicker like 15W 40

BUT...

Think of this... why stress the engine more with thicker oil? My Mech said that problem with loosing Engine oil are not going to be solved by thicker oil...

Rather all the seals and o-rings (top overhaul) is needed... rather you spend extra money every time to top up... better do the right thing and keep the engine running pristine with the correct oil rating...

This is just what i hear from the mech and so far my engine had never had any problem from loosing oil after ive done it.

BTW CERA-Tec is enough for our 6.5/7l engine oil. just pour it after getting the right ammount. It helps to also seal those microscopic leaks was told and it really work...

I use it in interval of once in every 2 service :)

bro xcrave, correct bro..i would totally agree with you..even my mech told me the same thing..permanent solution is definitely top haul..for now, im juz looking for a temporary solution since my service is due..tooooooo many expanses this month with my wedding around the corner..will be planning to schedule top haul soon bro..most probably by next month..watever u said make sense..why wana stress the engine with a thicker oil..?? hmmm..have not thought bout it until u said..pity my engine..hehehe..since i hv to topup every now n then, will consider thinner engine oil bro..thanks alot..cheers...

So far among the best in my experience mobil 5-50 is the best, give it a try. Shell ultra from tesco r good too but limited supply for discount units

Bro xcrave, need clarification from you please. Firstly, where in KK can I find CERA Tec? Secondly, can CERA Tec be used with other brands of engine oil? I'm living in KK now and wants to have additive in the engine cos I just did a major overhaul to my engine. Mine is E46 320i, Japan spec, year 2001. Would appreciate your assistance in this matter please. Thank you in advance.

The place is inside iramanis i forgot the shop name but he is the only one selling there so... yeah :)

BTW its better not to mix with others as its designed for Liqui Moly Products... but i havent seen any complaints even with other Oils...
