Back to my earlier question. Anybody experienced changing their m sport suspension to a bmw performance suspension..? anybody..???

what do you mean performance suspension? you are already on msport suspension, there is no higher range BMW suspension

why do ppl always think adjustables will get loose over time? its a one time deal ppl, you set it and off you go, im at 30k km with my KW V2 already, havnt touched it since installation.

The E93 has 200kg+ more mass then the E92, you cant cheat physics, it brakes, handles and accelerates slower then the e92. if you have tried a e92 b4, just imagine driving with 3 full grown adults, thats what a e93 feels like

You are right there bro ... :top: .. I'm with the clubsport version of the KW and has been on it since earlier this year with no adjustment whatsoever (after almost 30K) ... :top:..

Fender63lp68, if I'm not mistaken, there is no bmw performance suspension (chassis - I think that's what it's called) for the E93. At least that's what I was told when I asked the last time. Only for e92/e90.

Like the other folks said, the e93 will always feel and behave heavier than a e92, but with the kw V2, the handling is much much better than the ori msport crap... As for comfort, it's in general better than the ori msport, but it'll also depend on the height setting you choose and the rebound setting. It can be adjusted to a pretty comfy level.

The rear settings on the ori msport suspension seems to made for the rear to float up and down, like there is no damping when u hit undulating roads... such as the putrajaya area.... and when u do, the traction control lights come on like christmas lights ! ha ha very scary...

I'm now on the v2 on my e93 335i.

Anyone has any knowledge or feedback on local custom specialist RCS ? http://www.rcs-suspensions.com/

Mine 325 Msport is really crap on malaysian roads. not much confidence above 200kmh ( not that i frequently venture to those speed) . Fabulous on smooth roads and corners but not an all rounder.

Hoping to switch soon but have not decided either KW v2 or this RCS. Did check on Titan, but i think it is not in the same league.

RCS quoted 1k cheaper than KW and I think this local boys deserve some attention. They have done a 335 but they have not supply any testimony.

Bro shlim....thanks for the feedback. Would certainly like to meetup with you if you can.

Dear Mun,

Since RCS suspension has no track record and it is locally made. Price difference is only a mere 1k. I think getting kw is a no brainer right? Not here to promote KW but since so many club forummer is using kw which is made in germany and so far Non complaint abt the adjustable suspension. KW V2 is an all rounder. Comfort while normal driving and stable during high speed and corners.

My personal view is KW beat all the reknown brand such as bilstein b14 or b16 and etc. A set of good suspension will give you a smile on ur face everytime you drive your car.

I know it sounds like advertising but I agree with Marco (Motorsports Division). I sat in an E90 325i shod with 20" and KW V2. It was freaking awesome! I have no doubt it would have runned circles round my M Sports equipped E92 then. But on rough roads, it surprisingly absorbed the bumps very nicely. I was very impressed and wondered if I should have spent more on a new set of KWs then the 1-day old M Sports I got for half price.

How much is the kw v2?, m also getting annoyed with my current E92 ride which is really bumpy

No problem, sure can arrange a day to meetup.

Hi Guys,

The information in this thread is awesome and insightful. I am about to be an owner of a e92 (with M sports susp). I test drove the car that runs on 19" RFT tyres, more bumpy than my RX8.

Wild question: any forumers meet up so we can test the "much hyped" feel about KW? Nothing beats sitting in.

I'm on BMW Performance suspension. Awesome so far no complaints. Yellow springs.

Finally....
Installed KW V2 to replace the M Sport Suspension. So much better ride. My preference for a better comfort ride has been achieved. What I can say is with a firmer ride there is less rolling or bouncyness. It is slightly a bit bumpy but because there is less bouncyness the overall ride is alot more comfortable. Not to mention better handling and confidence..

I'm glad you made the choice of going KW V2, I've tried many sets of suspensions in my life, so far nothing can beat the V2 in terms of striking a balance between comfort and handling performance.

Truly a must have for all perfomance daily drivers out there.

Am on NON-M Sport stock suspension. With only a small budget, i managed to install HnR sway bars only. So far works well in high speed corners, even on undulating roads during rempit sessions. On highways, even with 4 passengers on board, the car has never bottomed before. Stock suspension should perform worst than M-Sport, but i wonder why so many buddies had bad experienced with m-sport suspensions. However, if budget permits, ill definitely get a set of KW.
