Need some good advice from sifus. I have had my E93 335i for a year now and always amaze me driving it. So far there is not much issues maintenance wise but do feel that road handling could be a lot better. I am looking to improve the road handling capabilities as I feel there is to much rolling and bumping whilst driving .I dont feel confident at corners and also on highway if going at higher speed. There is to much movement..Appreciate feedbacks...

Fender,

same goes to me...the car is awesome but whether we can handle it or not....Myabe attending BMW advanced training is the solution./...

im guessing that you are on the original msport suspension? if yes..junk it and get KW V2's

Yes it does have the ori m sport suspension. I presume you have good experience with the KW V2s. Will this make it a hard drive..? Will that be all I need? antiroll bar etc
Where is the best place I can get the KW V2s in terms of price. I will get my regular bmw mechanic to install for me.

Thanks

souldfood,

I know its not my driving. Ive driven a few bimmers and even my current E60 handles the road so much better. For a dedicated sports car like 335i I believe there should be more to handle the drivability...

yea..the original m suspension made my wife carsick. my 2 buddies both ditched thier m sus for KW V2's as well, all no complaints now. you can get from Motorsport division in sunway or obermaiyer, the pricing is pretty standard

What my advice is try to change a set of kw v2 1st. If you dont think it is enough then go for anti roll bar.
We have in stock for kw v2. I am quite confident that we can offer you the best price in the market.

Ohh ok then and well noted...I am still on m sport suspension..a KW V2 may proved to be the solution...I 've got to survey stilll

My exact sentiment. Getting carsick. Thanx for d advice i really hope it will address my issue. I wi check prices.

Funny ... I still find that the M Sport suspension is not that hard at all. :) I removed most of the body roll with H&R ARBs. It also gave my car less understeer. H&R ARBs are a good bang for the buck upgrade.

Ryou,

How long have you had these KWv2s? Do they degrade in performance quickly..? Since they are adjustable do you find them ..if I can mention coming loose as time passes by.?

Personally i drive a e92 335. I was on m sport suspension before. e92 320 323 325 330 335 all share the same suspension. Bmw should have another suspension setup for 335.

I have try jic magic and think the setup is too stiff and I cant seem to get the adjustment right for my liking. Then i change to kw v2. PROBLEM SOLVED. by far this is the best suspension system. A lot of people misunderstand that if you change to adjustable suspension then you will have very harsh ride. For kw v2, I can tell you that you are wrong. with the right setup, kw is more comfortable than m sport. During high speed definitely it is holding your car to the ground and you will feel very steady and safe driving at high speed.

Have try both m sport n kw v2 on the maju highway that link to airport. Hit 280 km per hour and I will rate m sport suspension 3 out of 10 and kw v2 9 out of 10.

marco...thanx for the tips...after surveying and reading your quote...KW V2 is in my mind to substitute my current M sport set-up....huhuhu

Thanks for the good input. I do have a few more questions. I am looking for a comfortable ride first and at the same time I want the car to hold the road and take corners well. Currently the ride is too bouncy and perhaps too the msport sus is no longer working well.
1) Once the KW V2 has been set up correctly ...do you need to check and reset periodically subsequently to ensure that it is at its optimum setting.
2) What kind of warranty does KW V2 has on its product. ?

KW V2 will be more comfortable and holds the road better.

To answer your question
1)You just need to set it at optimum then you dont have to do anything else.
2)warranty is 1 year from the date of purchase

I'm also driving a e93 with msport.

Have tried just upgrading the shocks as I was afraid of too low ground clearance. Frankly now with upgraded shocks, I find that the M springs are just too soft. While its less bouncy now I'm still unhappy with the setup. Changing the tires to PSS has improved it alot. My prev tires had too soft sidewalks.

If I had a chance to do it all over again I would choose the kw v2. And not waste on upgraded shocks.

Anyone has the experience of using/replacing their M sports suspension to a bmw performance suspension on their e93..?
I kinda like that they are non adjustable and perhaps more straight forward. appeciate your feedbacks..

hello everybody. i am contemplating of getting a 325i e93. i am currently driving e92 coupe 320i. do convertibles lack the road handling compared to coupes?
moreover, i m looking at the e93 premium selection from bmw AD. wonder if the current car owners can share some tips of maintaining the car. i appreciate the feedbacks.

For those who switched from E90 to E92 did feel the difference. Possibly due to the low boot line.

E93 lagi worst, topless car can never outperform a normal chassis car due to the rigid reinforced bottom to compensate the lost upper chassis strength. Certain degree of chassis flex is necessary to absorb unevenness of the road. If floor board too rigid, corners with wavy surface can be quite a handful for the driver during high speed, even straights with uneven surface.

Car with sunroof also suffer due to the higher central gravity of the car.

Without a roof, the structural rigidity will tend to be greatly reduced unless there is no doors... ;) To compensate that, BMW engineers strengthened the transmission tunnel and the side sills. However, it'll still be less rigid compared to a coupe.
