E90 320d 177hp & 184hp differences

Hi guys, i would like to know the difference between the pre and uprated, as the engine is the same? is it chipped by bmw/ some parts upgraded etc. More information would be appreciated, also is it possible to upgrade 177hp models to 184hp with the 30 extra Nm of torque? Hopefully i didn't ask a question already asked though. Cheers!

old and new model, powerkit can only apply on 184hp model to 200hp
