E83 X3 - share with me your experience on tyres

Hi E83 owners,I need to get new tyres for my E83. Mine is the 17-inch rim, so size should be 235/55/17. Dont know which tyre brand/model is suitable. Can you share with me your experience. Thanks.

i recently purchased tyres for mine
i think brand/model is personal preference and also depends on $$$
i replaced mine with the stock 18-inch size and have had no issues, even with the tyre pressure monitor
got it done in sunway, let me know if you need more info

Hi Tok,

Same tyre size - found that the Michelin Latitude Tour HP gave a good balance of grip and tyre treadwear. I did almost 95,000 kms for them. Switched to Toyo Proxes- not very good grip in wet. Treadwear also poor. Will go back to Michelin if I'm still using car by then.

Apparently not easy to find shops that keep in stock those tyres with 235/55/17 size. Not a common tyre size perhaps.
