Water level always low

Water level always low. Found that the expension tank got pinhole size hole.

Damage:

1. Expension Tank = RM 270 + Labour
2. Water hose (Long with 3 output) = RM350 + labour

Total damage : RM620

Now my pocket got leak...

Brake Pad replace.

Juz replace front brake pad at Chu Seng, Penang. Here the cost below.

1 set of front brake pad(ori) = $350.00
1 pc of brake pad sensor = $58.00
Labour = $45.00

Total = $453.00

Cost : RM1400 AGAIN!!!

The mechanics told me that he HARDLY found this problem as this is a rare case. But somehow my BAD LUCK with the servo pump seems to continue on.

I tried to ask for guarantee but he told me no warranty whatsoever for all parts. In the end i have to bear all the cost...TWICE!!! herghh...

Anybody been in the same situation? Fix...use...few month same problem occur. How come they dont have any warranty? I wonder. What should I do?

Oil change package (Castrol Magnatac 4litres 10W40, Filter, Labour) - RM158.00
Oil System Cleaner - RM80.00
Engine Oil 1 litre ( Castrol Magnatac) - RM 38.00
Labour for throttle body cleaning - RM85.00

Total Damage - RM361.00
Tax 5% - RM4.25
Total Damage after Tax - RM365.25

After cleaning the throttle body, the RPM needle fluctuate less, stepping on the pedal feels like stepping on tofu:69:, better throttle response.:rock:

Last 2 weekend drove my E46 a bit high speed. Suddenly my front logo flown away. Couldnt stop to get it in the midle of NKVE highway.

Went to Stutgart Taman Mayang bought the front BMW logo for RM40 . Not ori.

If your Brake Servo Failure again. Then go to Auto Bavaria to get it rectified, pay premium price and they will warranty 1-2 years.

here's mine

changed coolant tank rm 290, radiator coolant rm 35 , arm rest change rm 80, second hand arm rest e46 rm 600 labor charges rm 80 . total = rm 1085.00 .
last year i had spent 3k++ in total for maintenance only , this year up till june , i'm almost reaching that figure already , sometimes i wonder whether its really worth it to keep maintaining this almost 10 yr old car than getting a new and or cheaper one.the only advantage i have is theres no outstanding car loan on my baby.hmm..

My e46 repair bill at heritage!


1) Rear Absorber Mounting @ 35 x 2 = 70.00
2) Rear Absorber Damper@30x2 = 60.00
3) Used Long Shaft = 2000.00 ( Due to humming noise around 80 above KMh )
4) Lower Arm Bush 1 set - 695.00
5) Front Absorber ( Boge ) @385x2 = 770.00
6) Front Absorber Damper @ 25x2 = 50.00
7) Front Absorber Mounting @80x2= 160.00
8) Front Brake Pads 1 Set - 280.00
9) Lower Arm @ 555x2 = 1110.00
10 Workmanship -= 400.00

Total..= 5615.00 with rm20 Serv tax.

Please dont ask me why I went there and didn't go here or anywhere else!!hehehe

Btw, car is perfect now without a single noise!

Damage for today....

Car seems to be jerking and when idle the engine like shaking. After checking with computer found that 2 ignition coil already kaput. Changed with new one Bosh...damage as below.

2 Unit Ignition Coil 2 x RM 195
Labor 1 x RM 45

Total RM 435

Now car already ok and engine seems to be smooth then before.

Yup great service.. Tan is ex mchanic from M-roadster pandan indah. Just try service at his shop.. nice buddy..quite reasonable price also..

If you in Pandan Indah, can try MRoadster at Pandan Mewah, same row with acc. shop

I had extremely bad experience with MRoadster. Their pretense of good attitude can change 180 degrees drastically into nasty rascals the moment they make some technical faults. There were some other complaint threads on them a few years ago.

Would not recommend this place to anyone.

After 3 weeks waiting in line at last my car has been checked and damage so far was:

1.Changing left lower arm bush - RM 160

2. Replacing washer pump (for windshield) - RM 120

3. Washer pump seal- RM 10

4. Crank case -ventilation valve - RM 230

5. 0il pan gasket - RM 105

6. Oil filter - RM 30

7. Oil filter housing gasket - RM 60

8. Castrol Edge 5-40w engine oil - RM 198

9. Pumping out used bush - RM 20

10. Workmanship - RM 230


All together: RM 1163

Done at Menglembu Ipoh,Perak

Got my ride yesterday.. ask my mechanic to chk thoroughly (using the handheld thingy)... found a camshaft sensor error that cannot be removed.. he ask me to drive in a long trip this weekend to 'confirm' the problem. I have to bring back my car to him to re-diagnose next week...
