I baru tukar water tank for e46 M sport.. cost semua sekali rm400

Expansion tank tu harga dalam RM200-RM230, kalau tukar tank ni je semata mata memang rasa mahal upah pasang tu unless kalau include level sensor sekali then it should be ok. Perlis ada geng ka? Aku balik kampong susah mau nampak...adala kot 2-3 bijik

Very easy DIY job ... Uninstall the airbox and unscrew the MAF sensor from the intake tube ... Give it a good 10-15 short burst of the MAF cleaner, let it dry for 5-10mins and at the same time wash my filter (BMC CDA airbox) with water and let it dry for a few hours. Reinstall everything back and went for a short drive ... I think it's a bit smoother now, could be placebo actually ... I guess it could be that my MAF sensor are clean in the 1st place hehehe Will update when i go for a long drive later today

Bardahl oil update: Check my dipstick and the engine oil is relatively clean and the oil level is still good with little or no oil consumption ... Am impress with Bardah oil ... Tho i must point out that the engine is very smooth during low and mid rpm but at high rpm feels a bit rough. Not sure if Bardahl oil is suitable for long high rpm driving (i.e. spirited driving or at track).

Hi.
I've sent my beloved ride (E46 325i '01) to M. S. Motor at No. 314M, Jln Chan Sow Lin for my very first inspection & maintainance service after bought in my ride on May 2009. Made appoinment with the boss Ah Keong on Friday and agreed to check in my car at 9.00 am Saturday for action. It was a long process (it burns almost 10 hrs - started from morning til evening) but the outcome, I would concluded it as 2 phases "Outsanding!" and "Worth the Wait!".
The job done and damages are listed as follow:-
1.5 x 5L Engine Oil (Mobil Full Synthetic) - RM160
1 x Oil Filter - RM38
6 x Spark Plug - RM210
0.5 x Steering Fluid (leakage found) - RM10
2 x Front Suspension Absorber (L/R) - RM820

I noted they used mostly BMW genuine parts from the famour supplier in Jalan Ipoh.

What I impressed is there is no force sales for every repair they have recommended after the inspection, while during the process, explaination is given fully. As expected, the boss Ah Keong did not carry out all the work by his hands but his mechanic... However, he is constantly inspect / discuss with the mechanic everytime he passed by the car.

I don't think they charged cheap (I recogned it a heart pain) but I would called them the "Professional Service".

All...just to update u guys with my e46 328 problem and cost for troubleshoot.

Problem: EML and ASC light on , engine idling not stable.

Solution recommend by owner of SOLAR AUTO PENANG
EML talelight will appeared as it may due to throttle body problem , connection problem , air hose leak to intake manifold,
injectors stuck. So he recommend to service/clean the throttle body , injectors , check all hoses to intake manifold. Its because the diagnose showed that there are delay in engine combustions which causing uneven engine idling.
i pun agreed utk bg dia troubleshoot sebab one of his mechanics is my fren (actly my fren tula yg troubleshoot keta i).

Result: At the moment the EML and ASC sign never come out...(thks god)....engine response feel great...feel more power which is good for me( speed freak)...hehehe.

Cost for repair + service :

1.engine oil solar synthetic rm 204
2.oil filter rm 35
3.engine treatment rm35
4.air cleaner hose rm95
5.labour charge plus injectors flushing rm160
6.clean throttle body and diagnose rm 150
