Coupe uses a different mechanism as (Marco) you will notice how the windows will drop 1cm when you open the door and slide up again when you close the door. So i wont be surprised at that price.

Well I guess all e 46 owners better get prepared for it to fail just like the E39s. A very common problem for them.

i did the power window front left & right lifter and regulator, each side cost about RM 650 + in AB Penang.

Latest repair camshaft sensors, each about RM 350, Petrol filter RM 250.

My E46's rear window is having the same problem with the "lifter".

- Texstar RM200 for both sides (2 pairs),
- labour RM50.

AB Penang has a very poor service record.My friends 325 has been there for months just to change his tranny.

just changed my alternator belt cost me RM 60 purchased at stuttgart and sent over to my mech at Glenmarie was charged RM 20 labour. Bought platinum 4 legged sparks each at RM 33 from Stuttgart and labour was charged RM30. Coolant original BMW was RM 38 + RM 10 labour. All labour services took place at my mech in Glenmarie BM Motor Service.

What spark plugs are those? Good?

Bosch Platin 4 Leg. So far so good. Heard that it improves the pick up but in my case like normal only. But for sure the the car is smoother now. Just checked that one of our forumer paid about 300 bucks at AB for spark plugs. I think its cheap at RM33 each even 4 will cost u only RM 132.

I bought the rear power window lifter at First Division Segambut for RM360 and u can get mechnic to install for u for about between RM20 - 40. All in , cost you only Rm 400 or less.

got my front RH power window lifter at RM360 stuttgart PJ and installation cost was RM30.

Exactly where is it ? Which type of repair are they very good at ??

i only get the things from them. but the installation is done at my usual workshop B M Motor Service at glenmarie. cheers
