Anyone here did flywheel oil seal replacement before? Any idea on the total charges for parts & labor?

Quotation varies from the usual place that I go hence would like to know more before committing. The total charges ranges from RM500 up to RM1k which I think is pretty absurd.

From BA:

- Front Left Side Lamp (OEM UNO...apparently same brand and make as the original one that came with my J-Spec car), RM 110 (after some nego)
- Side signal markers (OEM also), RM 100 (50 per side)

Labour FOC..sendiri bikin...

Went to BA for some shopping today:

- Flywheel oil seal (Teflon type /w spring, brand: Febi) - RM65 (Normal rubber type is RM33)
- Brake fluid 1L (Brand: BMW, DOT4) - RM50
- ATF 1L (Brand: Febi, BMW LT71141) - RM40 (Apparently BA doesn't carry ZF fluids anymore)
- ATF filter (Brand: Filtran) - RM33
- ATF sump gasket - RM30

am looking around to do it for my car too. previously leaking not that bad, but now need to topup every week. quoted rm700++ for the labour, and around 200++ for the parts, that is in Kuantan (am always on the move kuantan-KL).
Lemme know if you find cheaper anywhere else. haha.. btw that is to solve for flywheel & oilsump leaking

Parts alone is only RM65 (teflon seal) and am trying to nego for RM300 labor. Will update here once done. Planning to do it next weekend.

Yeap some called it rear shalf seal as well. Thanks for sharing bro. Any idea how much should the labor cost (non-friendship price)?

Realized that yours is GM g/b, I thought GM g/b all need to be on Dexron ATF instead of ZF? Are you using ZF Lifeguard 5?

Changed my front rotor to 325 ones

- 325 Lemforder front rotor, RM130 each
- TRW brake pad, RM100

Workmanship at Kuching Lama (Ah Lai) RM80

Replaced blocked catalytic converter with stainless steel SG made and approved mid box system plus modified the location of O2 sensor RM 250 at Kuchai Lama

item 1 is removed and replaced withe the followings

Changed both belt Tensioner of mine E46 M43B19 during the last weekend...resolved the annoying squeaky sound
Part = RM185 x 2
Labor = RM80

I found a pair of E46 original Xenon light (used)...quoted RM1600..condition = half cut....is that a good price?

New "Eagle Eye" are around the same price. If RM1600 and come with original HID and auto leveling I would say its a fair price

Ya sifu, it come with original HID, auto leveling..etc....
sorry for very last 2 questions....
just wonder how is Eagle Eye quality compare with Original headlight?
If after some years, I want to change the headlight lens, Is the original E46 headlight lens fit on Eagle Eye?
