My Mech charge me 1k for 2 front absorber and 2 rear absorber inclusive labor.

1k is for 2 front absorber and 2 rear absorber.

yeah...really I think 2 front absorber and 2 rear absorber for 1 K would be dirt cheap.

Checked with Kenny MSPeed today. He charge RM1.6K 4 Absorber with mounting. My absorber already dead....can feel the road so rough. hit just small hold can feel the pangGGgggg ...feeling and pangggggGGGgg sound.

I am wondering what do you guys think of my recent "expenditure" for BMW E46 2002.

2 Absorber front "BOGI" - RM920
2 Absorber rear "BOGI" - RM440
4 pcs absorber cover front and rear - RM112
4 Pcs absorber bush front and rear - RM152
2 pcs brake sensor front & rear - RM76
2 pcs anti lower bar link front "Germany" - RM210
1 set lower arm bush front big "Germany" - RM390
1 set brake pad front "Germany" - RM155
1 set brake pad rear "Germany" - RM166
2 pcs disc rotor rear "Germany" - RM350
Alignment RM25

total plus labour Rm3,266.....

it feels great driving even i can see the whole in my waller...hahahaha..
so what do you guys think....(all part came from bavarian auto)

Which clinic that you go for this...?

i think the labour another RM120. Do you think it still ok??? u have to remember i changed absorbers cover and bush for all 4 tires...

Just changed my Seat belt tensioner on 16th May 2008.

Damage : RM 400 (Inclusive labor charge and resetting computer)

and this morning got smoke come out from the engine bay. Called my mechanic at around 8AM and rush to his workshop. Found that the Valve cover gasket was leaking. Oil dropped to the exhaust pipe and smoke created. Changed the Valve Cover Gasket.

Damage : RM290 (Inclusive Labor)

Guy's..Do you think my Valve cover gasket is expensive...can see somebody done it at 125 at M1 Kayu Ara.

What are the mech doing to clear the airbag light?

Engine sound so rough after changed to 5W/40....next oil change will switch back to 10w/40

i had the same experience, after changing back to 10w-50 engine is much more quiet. even my friend who doesnt know much about car notice my engine is much noisy when using 5w-40

What are the mech doing to clear the airbag light?

They used scanner to get the error code : drive belt tensioner.

clear fault memory.

then ligth goes off.

Better not adjust driver seat while driving due to airbag sensitive.

Maybe old fault code. Clearing it may 50% clear the light. But most of the time it's either Driver Seat belt tensioner or passanger Air bag sensor which located under the passenger seat.
