Mike dude.... whoa there mate..... this 'hot air makes my car feel lethargic" issue is not something you can fix by changing the viscosity of the engine oil...... its more fundamental than that.
Jipster try first. Like what they say Belum cuba belum tahu

People,

Just wondered if any of you felt that your udm's were LESS responsive on a hot clear day during stop start conditions compared to driving early morning or at night. I find the car a lil sluggish and the fan really loud in the afternoons....the oommph isn't the same. (Highway and fast driving no problem at all(

Could it be due to hot air going into the filters/weaker mix or is there something I dont about.?

Please advise.

Romeo,

migrate to another country laa wif cooler air, cheaper cars..no APs!!!! Then can buy 330ci for price of perdana.. :D :D

I noticed the diff can be quite pronounced. Hurts fuel economy too esp when climbing slopes, the car can sometimes feel lethargic. I noticed the contributors to this thread are mostly 6-pot drivers. Is the pwobwem just as pronounced with the 4-potters? I don't remember this being the case in my ex-E36 318i...
