Hey Guyz, anyone provide some input on how often we should change the Differential Fluid? More of a preventive maintenance, given that there's not much fluid in there, logically speaking, wears and tears quicker, worse if there's a leak that's not noticed. It may even resolved some of the common problems we've been hearing about "Klonk" sounds when decelerating from 3rd to 2nd gear.

Perhaps we should change it whenever we change the gearbox ATF???

Differential fluid requires much less fluid that ATF's, not sure, but quite a few forummers have been talking about a "Klonk" sound when they decelerate, or stop at a Traffic light, was just wondering whether changing the ATF and the Diff. fluid would improve things?
