I think it this picture below. It run from the back to the front. This trim tends to come off if you press against it.

rims should be 17" staggered M-sport.
Mine's an M-sport Jap-spec, it doesn't come with a rain sensor or rearview mirror dimmer. The rest are the same as Jarance's. Also the exhaust is different than the Lifestyle version. It has a deeper, sportier rumble.

My jap spec m-sport doesn't have most jarance mentioned, maybe mine is made in 2000. But the seat is sort of semi bucket style, sort of suede material. But it come with sun roof.

no multifunction steering but a 3 spoke m sport steering,
17' rim, full mtech 2 bodykit but don't have the boot lip.
no projector head lamps,
no rain sensor,
no auto lamps,
got black cube interior trim,
and shadowline trim,

Basically even Msport itself has various specs. Japan and UK specs (most prominent in Malaysia) as well has got different specs. Some of them are optional, but what most Msport package have is like what Jarance has posted.

I hope so....actually I wanna get UDM early few years ago....after kenal racun...from my best bro...blackcat!!!!........that time still tight a little bit for cash flow and commitment......mostly scare for those maintanance for european car......(They say damn expensive)

I do searching the forums....I realise that bmw got a lot of spec...perhaps some I also didn't know about it.......

What is the diff non M and M? (I do seaching forum tell me that all about the interior cockpit, suspension, and biggest rims....that's all?)

So 6 cyclinder easy to maintain? Cause just newbie from local car to euro car....hehehehe.

John Khoo, I've been driving my 320i M-sport for 2 years now. There's been no problem whatsoever. In fact, the engine now still sounds & feels just like when I purchased it. So is the ride. Such is the testimony of the quality of BMW. Just take care of the regular maintenance, and it should cost you not much more that the Japanese counterparts. BTW I hope somebody could show pics of the M-sports adjustable sports seats. They are a beauty.
