Dear all sifus,I juz got my new ride about a month ago.:top:Everything seems perfect except for some littlegremlins here and there.1) DASHBOARD METER.I've got this problem with the meter. If you notice there's twobutton on the meter board whereby one's for the clock, and the otherfor the distance.I seems to be having this issue with the distance button which i cant reset it.How should i fix it ?2) OIL ALERT!(DASHBOARD)I've some leakages on the bottom part of the engine.My foreman says it's normal to leakages but it causes anxiety for me.Can't sleep in peace. Can anybody suggest anybody who's good at fixing that ?3) AUDIO ISSUESThe next problem that I have is pertaining the audio system.I do not wish to change the original sound system as I believe it's gonacost me a BOMB, The knob where you can lower and increases the volume isout of order. The front speakers doesn't seems to have any sound. 1) DASHBOARD METER.
I've got this problem with the meter. If you notice there's two
button on the meter board whereby one's for the clock, and the other
for the distance.
I seems to be having this issue with the distance button which i cant reset it.
How should i fix it ?
Does your BC button works? It locate on the end of the knob for turn signal handle. if you reset the average consumption, then your multi function is working. As for the odometer trip reset button, most probably your reset PB is not sitting properly. There is a possibilty that some have open up the dash board before and did not fixed it back properly. You can remove the instrument cluster by removing 2 torx screw located on the top of the dash board. After you have remove the 2 screws, you have to lower the steering wheel in order to remove the instrument cluster. There are 2 plugs located behind the cluster which can be release by "unhooking" the retainer clip in order to remove the plugs.



2) OIL ALERT!(DASHBOARD)
I've some leakages on the bottom part of the engine.My foreman

No it is not normal to have oil leak at the bottom part of the engine. This is a sign that the oil seal is worn out or the oil that you used is too thin or the oil is overfill.
Get the car jack up and get it clean up of all the dirt. Drive the car for a few days and check for the source of the new leak. By determine the source of the leak then only you can determine the rectification work.


3) AUDIO ISSUES
The next problem that I have is pertaining the audio system.
I do not wish to change the original sound system as I believe it's gona
cost me a BOMB, The knob where you can lower and increases the volume is
out of order. The front speakers doesn't seems to have any sound. Well,
it clicks sometimes.
Can somebody suggest any good audio specialist ?
You can also increase or decrease the volume from your muti fuction button on the steering wheel. Does it work since your volume knob does not work.
Does your "ON/OFF" also work? and the knob that show a "music" knob works when you press it. This button allow you to change the setting like tone, balance etc.

Where are you located? Mind telling the name of the workshop. You are right to ask for second opinion. What have your 1st mechanic change to "rectify" the oil leakage?

You mean your steering is not like pic shown below?????

Could be a loose connector if your speaker are not working or your selection is set to rear speaker or somebody have installed a preamp and have remove it when they sell the car to you.
