a tire shop just snapped my camber bolt whilst trying to adjust the it. i was not that mad because i knew that all screw underneath the car are like the time bomb waiting to explode on my unlucky days. plus my car is a UK spec and it was built in 2001.

so here are the questions. where can i source the camber bolt? is it available new? i checked the ebay and found out several other options available as listed below. and last one did anybody here experience the same issue before and how did you resolve it?

whoa at that price?

Anyway I have replaced mine too, it was rusted and seized shut when I was at a tyre shop trying to correct my camber.

Solution?

A chop shop camber screw and a complete H arm because the old camber screw cannot be taken out from the H arm bush. Dont think its easy to pump out the bush from the H arm. we had to cut the camber screw to take out the whole thing.

Item 8 and item 11 below. Item 13 maybe you can use your old one.

08 LEFT SWING PART 1 33326755471 $401.50
08 RIGHT SWING PART 1 33326755472 $401.50

11 ECCENTRIC BOLT M12X1,5X98 2 33321095102 $6.78

13 ECCENTRIC FLAT WASHER 2 33306786186 $2.52

Just remembered, swing by Vixx Customs behind Giant Batu Caves, I think he have a few sets from the many halfcuts there.

When I checked to buy the bolt from BA back then, they said they will need to order, and the full set for the bolt (eccentric bolt, eccentric washer and nut) costs about 130-180 for both sides (if I remembered correctly)

thanks haywire for such a comprehensive reply.

the way i understand is that you resolved the problem by replacing the complete H arm instead of just the bolt, am i right? if that's the main solution then it's going to cost a bomb to me.

i just remembered that my mechanic once replaced the bolt for the left side because he broke it as well when replacing the ball joint. need to check with him if he pushed out the bush together with the broken bolt of just removed the bolt itself.

thanks for the heads up. i saw vixxx shop once when i drove pass behind giant batu caves but no chance to visit as of yet. will make his as one of the options.

I had to replace the h arm because the bolt cannot be taken out from the bush. The bush wasnt available separately from the H arm.

just an update, i went to a chop shop and got a pair of the bolt. asked how much they said foc. it just a screw they said. it just my lucky days i guess.
