our e39s have heaters and there are still connected and functioning...I hope.in Malaysia we DO NOT need these.i was thinking of deleting the heater functions by rerouting the coolant supply to bypass the heater totally and just connect the output hose from the engine back to the return line and blank off the heater valve assembly.this will surely save us from any "future leaks" inside the cabin in case the heater corrodes later in life and perhaps have moree efrficient airconditioning.have any of you done this?

Did it to my E36 after found there was leak in heater valve. So far no issue and less hoses to worry about.
Only problem is when in cold place like Genting, the front defrost does not function anymore when the front windscreen is foggy.
