any of Bros find vibration during cold start? then goes off once its warm. sometimes the check engine pops out. care to share?[/QUOTE]

Fuel regulator ok? Change mine when found bypass line back to intake contain fuel(The small hose), normally this line should not have any fuel inside.

will check on that. however, on E39 the regulator is on the fuel filter. mine changed last year. but if you're saying its the regulator leaking, then the idle will be rough all the way even its hot."just my experience before". thanks again bro.

hi Guys, too bad, received a call from the radiator shop. 1 leaking gasket and a crack side cover. replacement of 1 side cover (Taiwan) and gasket is RM220. no taiwan parts on cooling system. so i've contacted one of my fabricator during my Evo days, he'll do an Aluminium tanks on both sides.just like the Zionsville. not sure for the cost yet.will update you guys.this radiator thing making me sick.

bro, i gather that u have crack and leaking radiator more than once?? if so, just pay attention when u top up water. there is a float. the tip of the float should just to the brim. not water to the brim.. if all the way full, water will have no way to expand. thats when you crack your radiator very easily. learnt this the hard way.

what about the radiator cap? Isnt it designed to release the excess pressure?

Hi Bro, either the float is right up to the brim or all the way up, i dont think its a issue. BMW cooling system is design to withstand up to 2bar.thats why you have a 2bar radiator cap. the cracks on the cover shows stress cracks,if you look at the earlier pics i posted. it leaked from the same place. i suspect its my engine mounting.cold start the idling its bad.weak mounting is bad for top radiator hose.the reason behind this is that the M54 radiator hoses comes with plastic connector and clip for securing. the momentum of the engine revving all the time pushes the radiator hose from thermostat housing towards top radiator connector. we think that the rubber hose is soft and it'll absorb the vibration.that dont happen.weak mounting's make it worst. if you guys look at your top radiator connectors, that area is not crimped. its weak. btw. this is my conclusion over my freaking problems.(Just my 2cents).
