hi again ,i've checked threads concerning the car alarm but no actual 'cure' was given. I've a std E39 alarm installed, which lately has been beeping at unpredictable intervals..i've noticed sometimes other car alarm remote may trigger it and sometimes not..the strange bit is ,i've seen a fair share of E39 and E60 with the same issue.. I've resorted to keys now..thanks in advance

if its not troublesome for u to live without alarm, i sugguest u disable the alarm and just use keyless entry ie fob or remote some call it here. the feature are standard in most e39 but not alarm. most e39 don have alarm system factory fitted. no more beeping unpredictably...

errr... the crude way cut wire to the siren...takeout the fuse to the alarm sys.. etc...etc..
the good way, takeout the alarm controller , but both shud do the job. most e39 out there dont have factory fitted alarm, only central lock feature.

bro,yr alarm going off at random is due to the motion/tilt sensor faulty.this is located at the center of the roof.my suggestion is...after locking with the FOB,press a second time.this 2nd press disables the sensor.try it.the info to disable the motion/tilt sensor is in the user manual.

alo bro skin...my car got alarm wan....and plse lar don give suggestion cut here cut there.so unprofessional lar....
