Hi tyusoff,

If you can why don't you come own to one of the many TTs and you can meet up with members who have E39 and also E38.Definitely can talk more with regards to the pros & cons of owning either model..& kena the racun as well.. :D

E38 is a cruiser..if travelling to Kelantan fr KL it would definitely be the best..akin to travelling 1st class..
E39 is sportier & sexier with more engine choices so can be better tailored to your budget..

Good luck in your search..

Cheers :)
Hi greg, thanks for the invite. I will try to make it to any TTs available. Hehe travelling 1st class... wow ... would love it :p

Bro Tyusoff,

Pls buy a E38 728i and keep it stock standard, maybe with a new fresh quote of desired paint and interior upholstery, if needed. You will never ever regret your purchase. You will find a whole host of info on 38's to give you a well informed base to make a decision in this forum. All else fails, come to our next TT and I guarantee you, you will buy a 38

All the best in your hunt for YOUR UDM.

Hehe ... exactly whats inside my mind. Keep it exactly stock. But since I got racun to consider E39, hence the query :p

Buy e39 first, there still have a room to upgrade to e38..If u buy e38 now, then that is your last car..:4:
How come it will be my last car ??? :p Hehe just acting innocent here. Btw, E39 sometimes does stir the racy blood in me :p

If possible get the highest cc you can afford as E39 is a heavy car.
Of course ///M5 is the best. Dun believe me ask our VP T2ribena

I have to say, that's very true. :)

I'd suggest buying an E38, but ppl will say I'm bias.... hahah!!

But seriously, both cars are good. It all depends on what you want. I'd say E38s are for comfort but still can be sporty. E39s are more sporty but still comfortable.

For E39, get the biggest engine you can afford... the 528i are very very affordable these days.

For E38, I'd suggest you go visit the 7 series section of this forum. Lots of good tips on how to select one and look up the TT thread for pictures of very well done up E38....

Good luck!

Wow...nice drift on the 39....such a heavy car pun boleh drift!!!! And did the M5 39 smoke the 60????

Most of the time, it depends on the driver not the car..:listen:

This is another racun for u..:4:

hahah... so much racun from both camps!

But at the end of the day, I don't think you can go wrong with either choice of models. Everytime I see a nicely done up E39, I 'd wish I bought one, but after seeing my E38, I'm glad I didn't and I'm very sure the feeling will be the other way around if I'd bought an E39.

Bottom line, both are great cars (and now at a great prices)!!

i agree with u bro, beccause we will keep upgrading n will never stop...ceh3...better dont jump queue lor..7 series are just as sexy as 5 series, but enjoy e39 first la..that's what i think

I have owned 3 Three Series, 3 Five Series and 3 Se7ev Series but somehow, I skip the E39!!! You should take a drive on a E39 & then E38. After that it's easier to make your decision.

Hahaha guys,

I really think need to meet up with you guys la .. maybe tumpang duduk inside E39 and E38 :9: Hahahaha ...

The journey continues ...
